Whyte outboxed Wach and Helenius..why did he struggle with Fury?

I could definitely get behind a Dubois Helenius fight

 

Why is this a question? You're asking why could he beat mediocre to good fighters but lose to a very good to great fighter. The question answers itself.

 

Yep, trimmed down Bryan is talking a good fight though. Might be an upset.

 

Fury is better than Wach and Helenius on his worst night.
That said I like Helenius and always hoped he would do better.

The size combined with the movement, Fury just didn't let him set his feet to punch

 

Wach only has an 82 inch jab and Helenius only has a 79 inch reach plus he`s an inch or 2 shorter than Fury and has never won a world title.

 

Only on the undercard of Joyce`s next fight.

 

Fury has recently began fighting his full size instead of trying to be cute and box all the time.

Because Wach and Helenius are essentially high level journeyman/gatekeepers, whereas Fury is an A-level fighter. BTW, Whyte looked unimpressive in both of those fights.

 

He`s better at being cute.

 

Because he was distracted before the Usyk fight, his robe was too heavy during the ring walk, and he twisted his ankle Yoka style in the first round.

 

Hellboy is a better fighter than Wach though. Always has been. Only plus points for Wach are his ridiculous chin (which Makhmudov looks to have cracked unfortunately).
