I think I had it the same. Felt sorry for Hunter, by rights he should have Bakole, Kuzmin and Povetkin’s heavyweight scalps on his record.

Whats the latest on the card?

Hearn claimed last Wednesday that the "Full Card" would be announced Friday, that of Friday last week.

To date, just 3 fights confirmed. Well, 4 as Fitz is on it v no doubt a TBA but it's yet to be made official despite Hearns and my local rags words.

 

Could easily be coronavirus related if there are any restrictions in place on travel atm. Impossible for Hearn to secure anything atm with the uncertainty. There was a COBRA meeting about sports events in the UK yesterday and as far as I know there is another one scheduled tomorrow. No promoter will be able to do anything without the go ahead from these meetings IMO. It’s not just travel restrictions remember, there is talk of putting a halt to any large events with crowds of over 1,000 people which will obviously put an end to all Matchroom shows. Would allow Frankie boy to put another cracker on at Stevenage though.

I never thought of that. Actually glad that my mate faffing around delaying me in getting tickets to date might actually work in our favour ie hassle of refunds for the Arena, Train, possible Hotel.

Had some cracking seats in my hand - literally - whilst my mate faffed about coming. His reason? I ain't paying to see Katie Taylor - ffs!!!!

Now, he is fine about it. Means I am now playing a waiting game for the seats I want. Sigh!

You said they were close. Not disagreeing with your card just saying close implies it could plausibly be scored the other way.

It’s not really relevant, but did anyone notice that Povetkin and Whyte looked the same height at the weigh in? I know heights are exaggerated but Whyte is down as 6”4 and Povetkin 6”2. He looked the same height as Chisora too who is around 6”1-6”2 mark. Parker who is down as 6”4 actually looked a couple of inches taller than Whyte.

All very pointless/meaningless. He has significant reach which more than makes up for it.
