Hmm, not quote proof when any fight other than his Wilder matches sold awfully

    the list goes on...

Oh...and the fact he has gone abroad and won all the heavyweight belts against all the odds. Forgot that bit. Twice.

Try this one and more people actually favoured Groves, but lets not ruin your narrative

Reputable outlets like Vice surely prove that

And he hardly got a hero's welcome after beating Vlad

Look im a big Fury fan but put the breaks on for a minute

In my opinion Whyte is far more known than the others listed. He has done some reasonable PPV numbers himself due to the Sky/Matchroom push.

So I do think he adds a commercial value and that Fury vs Anyone doesn’t do 90K+.

I do think Fury is definitely the star, and is a fully fledged household name who is the main selling point and he would do decent numbers against pretty much anyone given his star has never shone brighter.

I just think it is very easy for those who dislike Whyte to completely write off his part in this. He is part of the reason the purse bid was so high. Warren knows that he is known to the public and is clearly upset that Whyte hasn’t lived to the preconceived billing and had a more active part in the build up and it would have made the fight bigger. If Whyte was such a nobody then no one would bat an eyelid at his lack of engagement in the build up.

I can't stand Whyte but only a fool would think him being the opponent isn't part of the draw

Who does everyone want to win?

They're both proven drug cheats but at least Whyte has never lied about giving money to charity.

Think I'd go for Fury out cold just for his dad's reaction.
