Its hard to knock whyte if he takes this fight imo. He's continually took hard sometimes risky fights. Swallowed the chisora rematch a bit....but its hard to blame him for it bearing in mind the second fight will probably be similar to the first. That's all right for chisora at his age but these type of fights can finish you off...when whytes career should have a good bit left to go. Always shown he's willing to go to any length to win a fight as well.

Reckon it would be a great match up. I d back Ortiz tho. Still say he's a dangerman in the division. Wilders team took a risk fighting ortiz but it was a calculated risk knowing wilders style wasn't one that Ortiz,s was great with. I still think he's a bit of a nightmare for whyte and Joshua tho. Best counterpuncher in the division. Wilder only just got away with it...by making Ortiz lead. He,ll catch boys and cause trouble for boys that try to lead off on him.

Whyte's pace and body punching would wear Ortiz down for a late stoppage, very dangerous fight though.

It is in todays paper saying that AJ v Miller is on for april.

    Quote.

Anthony Joshua may fight little known American Heavyweight Jarrell Miller, 30, if Deontay Wilder failst to agree an April scrap.
Promoter Eddie Hearn said, Miller could sell tickets , "He's a Handful."

    Unquote.

You've conviently omitted that Parker was put down with an absolute peach of a left hook.

He was lucky in the sense that he got away with some roughhousing that other refs Would be quicker to penalise, however he still fought a clever fight and demonstrated he has the heart for competing at higher levels in the game.

By no means am I suggesting he's an elite boxer, there are flaws, however In my eyes he deserves credit and branding him as lucky and blaming the ref stinks of anti Matchroom bias rather than constructive critiscm.

The only person pricing themselves out of Chisora Whyte was Whyte who claimed Chisora only deserved 25%

Like i said where does AJ go without Wilder/Fury?......Hearn thought he held all the cards v team Wilder and it looks like its backfired

Yes, definitely. And AJ is a coward, afraid to fight a legit threat.
You're probably one of those sheep who think the Earth is round!

The Chisora fight was close and you couldn't argue strongly with any conviction that either fighter deserved the W. I scored the fight in Chisora's favour but that's Boxing.

You can analyse a fighters career and pick it apart. I just think labelling his last fight as lucky downplays the credibility of the win, especially when you consider it wasn't a fight he needed to take.

I think most people were saying Browne would beat Whyte as well and he proved everyone wrong with a great KO.
Here's a thought: AJ fights Miller in his first U.S. appearance AND Whyte beats Ortiz in December and then fights Wilder in April at Wembley.

That is defo possible with the Matchroom MerrygoRound of heavyweights....Then Chisora fights the winner with Povetkin getting the AJ rematch with Price on undercard v Dave allen in final eliminator for AJ at Wembley in 2021

Ortiz's crack PR team just released a statement from the man himself:

'Howdy Y'all. Ya know us Southern Boys, we always be up for a fight. My Momma she raised me never to back down. Why I remember back in my days growing up in Texa, I mean Cuba, that when we sitting on the porch, eating our cornbread biscuits 'n grits that Momma used to sing to us old songs from dixieland and tell us 'son, ya mamma never brought no cowards into this world ya hear me Travis, I mean Lewis, I mean Luiz?

Anywhoo you tell young Dillian Whyte that I won't be getting on some new fangled airomoplane to fly over yonder to some mysterious place called 'London' that probably never exists nowhow anyway and may as well be Boisie it be that far away from my sweet home Alabam I mean Havana. Cause who want to be headlining no fancy PPV event when one can be keepin it real fighting a dangerous cowpoke name TBA alongside the good god living folks on the undercard of Wilder Fury. Sure those million pounds they be offering don't amount to no hill of beans compared to the goodly portion of cornbread and grits that this ol hoss gonna be paid for propping up the undercard fighting some stiff.

Anywhoo thats about all Y'all gonna get from your ol friend Looooeast as I'm dog tired and about to hit the hay. All 'Y'all gonna see me again in LA if the creek don't rise!

Whyte has a chance in this. Ortiz is at the age where any fight now he could turn up finished. I think as long as Whyte can avoid taking too much damage in the first 5-6 rounds he has a real chance after that as Ortiz stamina was really shown up against Wilder.

In saying that Whyte would need to work on his own stamina.

Also why did @Scissors get banned ive never seen him do anything banworthy
