Good fight, Whyte should win. Thought Jennings was beating Rivas reasonably comfortably until he just fell to pieces in the last round. Good fight doesn't equal PPV, obviously. Okolie-Lebedev is decent but Lebedev is old and Okolie is HORRIBLE to watch, shouldn't be relying on that. Chisora-Parker would be an alright addition though it isn't like either of them have any kind of momentum. Price-Allen makes plenty of sense. See that would be a fine enough card but none of those are particularly big fights. It doesn't have a blockbuster fight. And no world title fight either.
Rivas will smite Whyte. Lately everyone with a little bit of power have put hurt on Whyte (Helenius, Parker) but both times bell came to the rescue. His luck will run out eventually and I highly suspect that time is now. Rivas by absolutely horrendous KO inside 4 rounds.
A Couple of weeks ago the card was slated to be: Whyte v Rivas, Chisora v Parker, Edwards in a unification, Price v Allen, Martin J Ward v Stephen Smith.
That would actually be solid but I'd be surprised if they can get Edwards in a unification. Tanaka only one available I think and it'll be hard to convince him to get out of Japan. That said, that's surely the purpose of PPV.
Can see Price vs Allen headlining in Liverpool or Leeds/Doncaster later in the year. After his victory and “new found popularity” plus the need for Saturday night shows I think that’s the route Eddie will go down.
Yes, a good card & to be fair, against good international pedigree fighters - unlike BT Sport. Warren needs to start moving his heavyweights up in class of opposition fast to compete with Sky.

I think Hearn will use at least 2 of those as Saturday night main events to be honest. Fantastic card if it came off though.
Allen v Price will not be an undercard fight and would not be surprised if Eh day tested the loyalty of the PPV mugths with a PPV for this fight. If these mugs are willing to buy Pudding Whyte v Pudding Chisora, Pudding Parker and Pudding Rivas, there is no reason why they would not buy Price v Allen.
This isn't PPV worthy but Hearn has promised fighters he will make them PPV stars. Now he has to keep those promises and deliver that big money and that money means we have PPV. What irritates me more than the PPV itself is Whyte was going rogue a month ago, making demands to fight AJ that were delusional, then flying off to America to discuss deals with other promoters and he finds out he isn't going to get Sky and Matchroom money in the US so he comes home and unbelievably Hearn bends over and gives him another headline PPV event. I like Whyte but he isn't a stand alone PPV fighter, he could be in PPV fights with the right opponent, AJ, Fury or even Wilder but anything other than those 3 and I'm struggling to see how Whyte justifies it. The only stand alone PPV fighter in the UK is Joshua, he generates huge money and he is the number one heavyweight on the planet (debatable I know, but he holds 3 of the 4 major belts). AJ could fight (murder) me and it would be PPV. I think Sky and Hearn have to distinguish betwen PPV Stars and PPV fights, for example Brook Vs Khan would have been a PPV fight a couple of years ago, I don't believe Brook or Khan are PPV Stars in their own right, they have to have a big opponent to justify it or a huge fight. I am seeing this ridiculous manufactured rivalry between Josh Kelly and Conor Benn being pushed, its starting to be ramped up and it screams at me that Hearn wants to get Conor a PPV payday before he is wrecked by some journeyman and he will justify it by reminding us of DeGale Vs Groves. Trust me, that's coming if they get any sort of traction with the " Quorn".. yeah "Quorn" because it's fake beef. It's so see through now that it's not remotely fun any longer, you can see a mile away what they are planning and trying to manufacture and I believe it won't be long until it all starts to turn on them. It could turn on this Whyte fight, this could be the one that makes them rethink who are PPV Stars and what are PPV fights. I believe this will flop, maybe not outrageously but definitely take a loss, I can't see the "casuals" steaming in here, it's a good fight, a fight I will want to watch but will I buy it? Not a chance, no way Pedro, not having it, I don't care how "stacked" the card is or isn't, there comes a point when you have to take a stand and for me it's this one, Sky and Matchroom are taking people like me for granted, the people who buy PPV's and don't illegally stream and they are now taking the pee and I am not having it.
Was just reading there that there might be an issue with Rivas passing a medical with the BBBoC as he's had problems with his eye before and had multiple surgeries done and had to cancel a fight with Gerald Washington before due to it, which I never knew. The BBBoC are quite strict with their rules and regulations, I believe. Could there be trouble ahead? Maybe Hearn will need to prepare a brown envelope for the BBBoC to make sure he passes his medical...
I've seen it for a while, I used to argue constantly with people on here years ago, they would call me all sorts of names and describe me as either "poor" to "tight" because I wasn't happy about PPV and where it was heading. Apparently it was "only the cost of a round of drinks" and I should be fine with it. I wasn't the only one or the loudest one, quite a few people on here predicted exactly this, exactly what we would be paying for in a few years, they were shot down at the time, they were spot on. This will all backfire, it has to now, I can't see how they can justify or even sustain this model at these prices when DAZN is about a tenner a month in the US, people are starting to question why they are paying.. £28 a month for the Sky Sports Package + £6 For HD, so if you're just a boxing fan that's £34 a month and the best you'll get is Dave Allen Vs Browne or Chisora Vs Gashi, maybe Conor Benn/NxtGen shows and then being asked to pay £20 PPV every time any half decent fight is made. Sky and Hearn are taking major liberties now, I've personally had enough, I won't be doing it any longer.
Whyte v Rivas Okolie V Lebedev Price V Allen Cheeseman V Fitzgerald Charlie Edwards Josh Kelly Josh Buatsi Conor Benn Screams really good Saturday fight night, never a PPV. I’d pay for a Whyte Parker rematch, as I reckon Parker beats him this time. The first fight was also fairly entertaining. Parker Chisora won’t happen on this card, really can’t see it. Awful fight for Chisora to take. Don’t even think Cheeseman Fitz will happen for this card either, seems both want tune ups before facing each other. Eddies got to pull something magical out here, he’ll be taking a loss otherwise. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Brook on this card.
