Thought you were a Syrian still coming to terms with the Queen's lingo. What do you term rubbish - boxing opinions? You appear rather too exciting for a boxing forum old chap
I'd scored it: 1. 9 -10 Parker 2. Should have been 9-10 to Parker as the KD was a clash of heads. 3. 10- 9 Whyte 4. 10- 9 Whyte 5. 10 -10 6. 10-9 Whyte 7. 10-9 Whyte 8. 10 - 9 Whyte 9. 10 - 8 Whyte 10. 10-9 whyte 11. 9-10 Parker 12. 8 -10 Parker I believe Parker thought the KD in the second was legit despite it not being so. Parker lost confidence and look defeated on his face and in his body language untill the 11th were he found success and regained confidence. A very good fight. Both fighters giving a good account of themselves despite showing the weaknesses in their games. Whyte derseved to win in a close fight but I would favour Parker in a rematch.
Good scoring that, mine was similar. I was wrong about my assessment of Whyte. I didn’t think he was a legitimate threat and would always be found wanting against higher skilled opponents. He showed what I know. He more than makes up for his lack of skill (although his jab is actually very good) with his size, power and never give in attitude. It’s time for me to stop picking him apart for his technical deficiencies and appreciate him for the wrecking ball he is and the extra excitement he brings to the division. Dillian...i’m a fan
The knockdown was a knockdown Knockdown was legit IMO. a big left hook landed, Parker was on his way down and heads clashed.
Accidental headbutt knock down was not legit. 3points turnaround for Parker, he was probably concussed for a few rounds like his trainer said in the post fight interview. Ref protected Whyte, he should have got a point deducted for repeated dirty tactics. The least Parker got was a draw. Would of won imo had he not got kd with a headbutt.
Not in the end, bud. I had Parker to win, got all the others right including Allen & Chisora but unfortunately got the last one wrong
On a serious note, I didn’t have it as a knockdown but I can appreciate your interpretation of it. Even so, Whyte controlled most of the fight and it wouldn’t have made any difference. That ‘second’ knock down was an absolute peach. The lad can seriously dig. I honestly didn’t think he could but he really can. I think his timing is off as he missed a few times but when they land...it’s lights out.
