Most casuals don't know who Pulev was or Takam, but it still stuck on PPV and shitloads still watched it live and on TV. So again to me that doesn't give enough reason for that fight not to be next. I know it was a mandatory but it still sold excellently and everyone made their money, so Hearn has no right trying to stall it IMO
True, the reality is I see It happening sooner rather than later, apart from Parker who else can AJ really fight instead of Wilder? If it isn't Wilder or Parker, the only other guy of the top of my head that would excite hardcores would be Povetkin, which is 99% unlikely.
He and his team have said they would fight Whyte if guaranteed a fight with AJ next if Wilder wins. Then Hearn backed off and said “it doesn’t work that way.” So there is NO reason to fight Whyte. If Hearn is so high on Whyte and if he’s such a draw in the UK, rematch him with AJ.
There's 4 million reasons why Wilder should fight Whyte, considering Wilder only earns a 1/3 of that fighting the bums he's faced over the last 3 years.

What split does Wilder want?? See he can say all he want but it is going to come down to who gets what and all I see is Wilder crapping on about 50/50 which he doesn't deserve.. He can talk all he want but fight are made in negotiations and if he wants the fight so bad then he will quickly snap up a 80/20 split and go do his stuff..
That will be decided at the negotiating table. Both sides probably want 100 percent, but we all know it won’t go that way. And the economics of an AJ home fight are not what they seem (OMG 90,000 FANS, OMG!!! — but the gate was smaller than, say, Canelo-Cotto ... heck, it was smaller than Mike Tyson-Frank Bruno in Vegas ... they don’t charge much for tickets or PPVs for that matter in the UK) ... I’ll make a post about it. But, again, why do you personally care what percentage of the purse Wilder gets? If it’s 50/50 or 90/10, does that really affect how you enjoy the fight?

You’re not getting my point: Vegas may want the fight and can afford to offer more than AJ generates at home. AJ filling a big stadium is great, but they apparently charge for tickets about what a hot dog and soft drink costs at a US stadium sporting event. And one PPV buy in the US is like four in the UK. Don’t discount the possibility. I know that might upset you and a lot of other people if it doesn’t happen in England — and if it does, that’s great too — but it needs to happen. It’s the best thing for the fighters, the promoters and for boxing. Of course negotiations needs to happen. Hearn called Shelley Finkel and said he wanted a Wider-Whyte fight. Finkel said make it so the winner fights AJ and it’s easily done. Hearn wouldn’t return his calls after that. So for it to happen, for a price to be agreed upon, Hearn needs to pick up the phone. That’s where it starts. He can posture about Whyte all he wants, but if he can’t/won’t guarantee a fight with AJ if Wilder beats Whyte, then that fight is dead in the water as it should be.
Would love to see Joshua knock Wilder out, but Wilder does not want to fight Joshua! He is just running his mouth! Wilder will fight Breazeale next, another Haymon fighter who will take a dive if ordered, but he can't fight at all, so he won't have to take a dive! Didn't Joshua knocked Breazeale out?
