Sorry you dont know what undisputed means then, I agree i think that Fury won, not how it works though ,, undisputed means you have all the belts no ifs, no buts.
The fact of the matter is undisputed actually means you hold all the belts thats just the facts, unified means you hold two or more.
Opinion does not come into it. Like it or not only a fight of AJ v Wilder will determine an undisputed champion.
hardly the guy doesnt know what undisputed means.
It doesnt mean the best, it doesnt mean the guy who has fought the most top names....its the guy who holds all the belts.
You are right in a literal sense. Traditionally it is the holder of all four belts, however, nobody will consider either fighter undisputed champion until one fighter defeats the other two regardless of which belts they hold.
Oh they will be considered undisputed by most like it or not and by most people. Doesn't necessarily mean they are the best tho
With all this talk of titles let's not forget that Fury would've had a good chance of still holding at least one of them if he hadn't decided to cheat.
Not really the actions of a true 'fighting man'.
You’re having a nightmare here mate.
Gotta love Hearn running to DAZN to offer Wilder the exact same Hearn/AJ turned down to fight Wilder....couldnt make it up
not disputed or called in question; accepted.
I think barring Tyson Fury every boxer in world would choose to be undisputed unified world Champ of the 4 belts over having the mythical "Lineal champion" tag line.
Fury has to talk up the lineal claim because it's all he has.
If this fight is signed one of Joshua or Wilder is undisputed. His lineal claim fell apart the second he decided to fight Seferi for me. It was already on very dodgy ground on the basis of his multiple retirement statements and total inactivity for years, but how anyone can seriously say he's the lineal champion is beyond me.
It's a question of interpretation anyway since Gene Tunney.
Do you know what's brilliant lads; Hearn has been cut out of negotiations. We won't have to listen to any more of his IFL interviews, telling us "Wilder should do this mate, Wilder should do that, Shirley Winkel won't even talk to me mate." All the while the fight moving further away. It was God awful to listen to the last time and I'm delighted we don't have to listen to it again.
Fair play to DAZN, they've cut out the bullcrap, removed the provocative Hearn from the picture and made Wilder serious offers. He's the undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, make the man feel important ffs. Hearn patronized everybody and wanted it all on his terms. He looks silly now. I believe DAZN will get this over the line and all credit to them. I can't wait to see this fight.
If Wilder comes out on top, the Fury rematch will definitely happen. Wilder will be asked about Fury everywhere he goes and that will bother him to the point he'll take the rematch.
If AJ comes out on top, they will freeze Fury out 100%. I don't see AJ/Fury ever happening if AJ comes out undisputed.
It's great times lads. Enjoy them.
AJ's legacy will be severely damaged by finishing a career in which he does not fight Tyson Fury.
Holding all recognised belts is undisputed.
