Jay Deas is basically a PE Coach. He isn’t a trainer. It simply doesn’t matter as Wilder could have Eddie Futch, Ray Arcel, and Emmanuel Steward training him and he would never beat Fury. Wilder is a Glass Jawed fighter with no heart, no skills and no Ring IQ. None.

And yet he's sticking with Deas. Oh. My. Days.

What does he have on Wilder? Such an uninspiring and gash trainer. Also looks like a methhead.

There's not a man born from his mother who can train that useless gangling uncoordinated oaf to beat Tyson Fury.

I'll be honest, I'm upset that Breland didn't let the fight go on so that Fury could have done more damage to Wilder and properly KO'd him, which would have humbled Wilder and perhaps ended his career. So I definitely felt like firing Breland for sabotaging the destruction.

But the fact that I'm annoyed that Breland saved Wilder from more damage and the humiliation of being put into a heap, perhaps never to be the same again ... shows that Breland was actually looking out for Wilder and Wilder is a fool for driving him away.

Such a shame.... he should have listened to Mark and actually learned from having such an experienced fighter/trainer in his camp. How many times did we see Mark in the corner frustrated because Wilder wasn’t doing anything he was taught. Will be interesting to see where Mark ends up, he has ties and history to Sugar Hill so don’t be surprised.

Wilders career is essentially over after the 3rd fight.

I see a lot of negative posts about this but to be honest wilder didnt improve from ortiz 1 to ortiz 2 and also regressed from fury 1 to fury 2

If breland is a good trainer either wilder is a poor student or breland is a bad fit. Fury got rid of Davidson despite their success and his improvements from fight 1 to fight 2 were night and day

I'm not surprised wilder fired breland it was basically hinted at since the towel came in

I'm not saying the change is going to work but it's not like breland was getting him to the next level

its simple. Breland saved Wilders career. Jay Deas wanted to save his job, in the fight.

Breland, should hold his head up high. He did the best thing for the FIGHTER. Which is what you need.

    Imagine boxing for 12 years

Bieng 6'7" and not being able to throw a technically good jab consistently over 12 rounds.

    bahahaha.

I would imagine Wilder having those 3 trainers in his corner at his next fight with Fury might cause Fury to be somewhat freaked out.

I don't like the over confidence from the Fury camp . Wilder can still end any fight in history with one punch and he will be determined to avenge the humiliation of the last show down. He has been keeping a very low profile for a good reason

It's not overconfidence; it's confidence relative to their respective levels.

Fury's already experienced the full force of Wilder's punches in the first fight and learnt to shut it down in the second. Unless he subconsciously wants to let Wilder catch him again it's likely the third fight will be even more one sided.

Wilder's keeping a low profile because he's been embarrassed into hiding. What's he actually doing behind closed doors besides desperately trying to convince himself that he didn't really lose? Training super secret advanced techniques with Master Deas that he'll bust out in the re-rematch? Juicing himself up to Joshua levels so he can be even faster and less gassy than he was in the second?

I doubt Wilder's been doing anything other than stewing and crying himself to sleep at night.
