Parker is just selling his belt.. We all know it. No one cares about Parker/Joshua we wanted to see Joshua/Wilder. At least Wilder can collect all the belts from Joshua at once.
Thats fair enough, i was a bit harsh. But its a damn risky way to fight, he nearly got stopped himself on the way to setting up the right and if his aim had been off and not managed to find the shots after not bothering to try win any rounds he is at risk of losing on the cards. Many a giant puncher has had their fights go the distance.
That's what makes him so exciting!!!! Can you all show Wilder some love now? How thrilling was that fight? And how many people did he prove wrong again. I remember back in late 2014 before the Stiverne fight everyone was saying Wilder was a hypejob and Stiverne ends him. Now Stiverne is no Ortiz but Wilder got NO credit for that years later. Now that he's beat Ortiz a guy everyone was ducking will people appreciate him?
Honestly, I have always said that wilder is not as bad as a lot of people say in this forum. Plus, he's not as good as some others say in this forum. He had huge problems fighting vs ortiz, he has no clue at all about how to fight vs a southpaw. Hadnt ortiz thought that it was izi pizi he would have won this fight hands down. Wilder has unreal power. Wilder is a lucky guy because there are no other worthy southpaws in the division. Joshua vs wilder is a flip. 50%. They both have unreal power, they both make mistakes nonstop. A flip.
Fury can fight southpaw. But Fury is finished. But the Fury who fought Wlad would have been his hardest fight forsure. But I do think Wlad being old af and not being able to pull the trigger which was shown even in the Joshua fight where he had him badly hurt was a major reason.
Oh but i really enjoy partaking in the Wilder hate, i find it fun. But i NEVER miss his fights, he is without doubt exciting.
Who did Ortiz ever face who had power before he fought Wilder? So how do we know how good Ortiz chin is? So Wilder knocking him out proves what? Who did Wilder knock out in his career that was known for their chin? A washed up Chris Arreola who he actually didn't stop ( The corner did). Eric Molina who not only was he hurt badly by took 9 rounds of constant punishment to stop. Enen though Arreola put Molina away in 1 round and Anthony Joshua put him away in 3. Wilder beat a 40 year old beat up Cuban fighter who was never that good. A fat Cuban guy with no stamina and Wilder fans act like he beat some kind of a legend. Wilder has no skill at all and will lose the moment he faces anybody with any level of skill and stamina. AJ is just as poor as Wilder. A guy with overrated power and best win in his career came against a 40 plus year old guy.
