If you believe being a champion proves the quality of a fighter, than I have some beachfront property to sell you.

I hope this hasn't ruined Christmas for Deontay and the bomb squad this year.

Are Wilder-Fury going to be 60-40 again or will Fury get 50-50 This time?

Wilder demanding 50-50 vs Joshua but only give 40-60 to Fury...

Pure disgrace to himself not even living up to his own standard...

Heckling aside, that's a pretty good number. Better than I'd expected (around 200k). It was very expensive and in the United States -- where foxing is a fringe sport -- so all in all that's solid.

No way Wilder and Ortiz did 275k. Even the "room" was not full.
And the source is ??? Twitter with source said ..... Pathetic from Wilder team.
And i don`t see a reason why should i trust this so call source, than the first ones, that said he did 75k or 175k.

americans make more money on average and have more disposable income with a lower cost of living

    sounds even to me

you can only compare prices in the same economy not in different economies thats quite silly

Besides, nobody here is driving home the revenue aspect but the draw aspect i.e in a country of 320 million Wilder just aint popular

in an island of 60 million Joshua and Whyte are much more popular bigger draws

People are interested in watching them fight, they are invested

Good numbers for fighting a 50 year old Cuban in a rematch no one wanted to see. Not as good for your bank balance as signing to fight Whyte or AJ would have been though. As he would have earned 3 to 4 times more fighting Whyte or AJ. Which is a lot in boxing when you have a limited career.

No wonder some people call Deontay by the name Deonkey.

Well for Deonkey it was way more rewarding to help out Ortiz daughter for the second time by giving Ortiz a second title shot and money

He puts others first, so gotta rate him for that

    end sarcasm
