This fight's dead in the water. Wilder has got his out and he's going to cling to it with all his might.

Here's what will happen. Wilder will fight the usual no-hoper on short notice, look like crap, KO him, then bounce around the ring screaming BOMB SQUAD!!! at the top of his lungs before calling out all the top fighters who already have fights lined up with other people in incoherent twitter rants filled with appalling spelling and punctuation and claim he's being ducked.

This is a pattern that hasn't deviated in his entire career, and there's no reason to suspect it's going to do so now.

the reason it's on the banned list is because professional shooters/archers etc use it because it keeps the hands steady due to calming the nerves. it has no pros for a boxer and in fact would hamper him physically.

 

I have serious doubts that there's any conspiracy against Ortiz. Wilder isn't making any money from not fighting. I'm pretty sure Wilder and his entire team would gladly take the risk of losing and getting paid over not fighting at all and not getting paid.

This is nothing but negligence by Ortiz and his team. I agree, look into his medical records and see if there is indeed a record of high blood pressure, and see if there is a record of ongoing HBP medicine.
