Wilder says Furys fingernails led to ear bleeding

I always thought this pic looked dodgy. It looks like the fist is too far down the glove. The top of the glove looks like his fingers are there but it could be that it's been broken in and molded to the fingers during the fight. That's from the first fight by the way.

Say what you like about Wilder, but he's at least proven he can meticulously study every aspect of a fight to work out what went wrong. He's a lot more thoughtful than people gave him credit for.

So, they put MMA gloves on Fury between rounds and nobody noticed or took any
pictures of them. He scratched Wilder's ear and then they switched gloves between
the next round, again nobody noticed. Or when they shoved a cueball in the glove
so Fury could dent Wilder's head. That's a lot of stuff.
And had the fight gone to the 8th round there was plans for a baseball bat.

 

I don't know what's more impressive - Wilder taking 7 rounds of beating with loaded floppy fingernail hole gloves, or that Fury managing to swing for the fences for 7 rounds wearing those things.

 

Furys tongue clearly wasn't making contact with Wilder.

I think one thing that I've learned from all this, is that there are definitely people out there less intelligent than Deontay...his hardcore fans. You would have to have the IQ of a goldfish to buy these excuses.
