Thought Wilder would stop him this time round but bloody hell im glad to be proven wrong. What a boxer Tyson Fury is, what a masterclass. full credit to Sugar hill and Andy Lee too

There is no real need for a 3rd fight now at all.

Fury saying he has no much to fight for now. But Joshua has most of the belts. He should do that next.

I was perfectly happy to point out before the fight that Wilder was a hype job who had a big punch and nothing else. His CV is very weak, he has no signature win, and in many ways is comparable with the likes of Michael Grant. That’s not to discredit Fury; it’s simple fact. Well done Tyson for exposing him, but let’s face it, it’s not a huge exposure given Klitschko, Whyte, Pulev, Povetkin, Joshua, Ruiz, Parker and so on never got a chance themselves.

That's one way of looking at it.
Likewise, when Fury beats Joshua we call all say it's not a really huge win because Andy Ruiz did already get the chance and he beat the crap out of Joshua in 7 rounds and practically made him quit.
So .... there's nothing Fury can do to get himself an epic win, if we want to be critical.

But he's the best of his era and that will do.

You’ve missed the point. Joshua has been consistently fighting top ten ranked guys for years. If Fury beats him it’s a major statement because of the quality of opponent he’s been in with.

If Wilder had beaten Klitschko, Povetkin, Parker and Whyte then it’s more of a statement than if he’d beaten Washington, Duhaupas and so on.

He is focusing on the single empty seat in row z - the guy was in the toilet dropping a Tony Troll and he is claiming the Arena was not full.

You are just dismissing wilder so let's break AJs wins down.

Wlad 18 month lay off at 40 having lost his last fight.

Parker - no decent wins at all, needed a favourable ref to get him through

Povetkin - AJ fought the ghost of Povetkin

Whyte - British level, injured and not properley coached.

See how easy it is to do?

I understand that. But Joshua lost to a guy (badly) who wasn't top ten ranked, so that's the counter-point. If you want to be critical.
If Fury beats AJ we can easily say, 'so what ? AJ got bashed up by Ruiz, who was unranked' .... beating the likes of Parker and Whyte, and old men Klitschko and Povetkin isn't enough to wipe away the stink of being a guy who needs two attempts to beat fat Ruiz (who nobody rated as an elite HW) ...

Klitschko all time great, Parker reigning world champion, Povetkin former world champion who was ranked top five by every reasonable ranking system, Whyte a solid fringe-world level contender.

No matter how you try you can’t do that with Washington, Szpilka, Duhaupas and so on.

Unless Wilder starts fighting (and beating) top ten contenders and other world champions he’s not got a lot to write home about.

Tony Troll never on here during fights but ready the next day with his pre typed tripe.

All boxthing fans on a high after last night yet he still focuses on discrediting the achievements of Tyson Fury and Frankie Warden.

The type of guy that drops an eggy fart in a pub and slips away leaving people to blame each other.

And of course you can say Ruiz was ranked too low and the fact he beat Joshua suggested he was far better than some gave him credit for.

Plenty of greats lose against average opponents at some point. We don’t say Lewis is rubbish because Rahman beat him. We say he’s great because not only did he beat Rahman himself, he also beat loads of other contenders and champions. Wilder doesn’t have that. In fact, he’s nowhere near it.

    Absolutely Jurgs.

As for you Hayers, you should be banned from the forum for life for turning the place into a poisonous kip. Everyday for a couple of years now we've had to read your drivel:

    - You told us all we were delusional to think Fury's popularity was raised after the first Wilder fight
    - You told us the rematch wasn't a superfight
    - You told us Fury was a boring fighter
    - You told us he'd never crack America
    - You told us Arum would lose a fortune on him
    - You told us he couldn't punch hard
    - You told us his weight was a mistake despite his camp telling us his intended fight weight two months before the fight
    - You repeatedly told us the fight wouldn't even happen
    - You told us he wouldn't box on the front foot
    - You told us it was poorly promoted yet it's broken the vegas gate record for a heavyweight fight

I could go on and on and on but life is too short and you've wasted all of our time with your daily nonsense. You better pray the AJ fight is never made because he'll batter that man from pillar to post but sure look, it's all good with you because you suddenly don't care much for AJ when he loses.

You're a creep and everything you've ever posted about Fury has been proven to be nothing but pure hate filled lies. I'm delighted for you!
