Wilder against the dangerous, awkward, tough and flawed fighter s who could ruin your day?

How's does Wilder realistically do against this group then?
    Ray Mercer
    Tommy Morrison
    David Tua
    Andrew Golta
    Michael Moorer

    Who gives him more trouble?
Who could he knock out clean?

I think he sparks Morrison and Golota. Tua wastes him. I would favor Mercer. Moorer is a weird one. He could really box and with the southpaw stance I would tentatively favor him. But prime Deontay had a set of whiskers and real fighting will.

He'd knock out Moorer, Morrison and Golota. You could pretty much take the to the bank. Although I suppose Morrison has a chance of smashing Wilder too

Tua had a good defence and I think probably knocks him out.

Mercer is hard to say but I'd lean to Mercer to win by KO

I think wilder stops Morrison and Golota ,has a 50/50 war with Tua but could perhaps struggle with Mercer and Moorer.

Ray Mercer - I think Ray gets the decision
Tommy Morrison - Wilder sparks him
David Tua - he sparks Wilder
Andrew Golota - as always, Golota quits or gets DQed at some point
Michael Moorer - if 45 year old Foreman chinned him, Wilder does it to

    Overall Record: 3-2

I tend to agree but Mercer could stop him. Moorer is winning until he isn’t. He beats Wilder up until Wilder catches him.

That's what I'm going with Moorer to do, surprise Wilder and rack up the point's until BANG!

Wilder is a one trick goony-bird who would be starched by nearly every HW contender and champion of the 90s.

It was a helluva trick. Heck, all champs have had their limitations. They learn to channel the action to the space away those limitations.

And that said, both opponents and high level sparring partners said he was very awkward and hard to hit.

Yeah I’m with the majority. He beats Moorer, Golata and Morrison. Mercer and Tua would be much tougher and less certain fights.

I believe Morrison at his best beat Wilder at his. First reason is Morrison was simply a much better, much more complete fighter than Wilder ever was or is.
2nd reason is Morrison was an extremely fast starter, and I don't believe Wilder would survive the onslaught Mercer or Bentt survived.
Bentt and Mercer were tough , tough men.
Wilder talks tough, but that's it.
3rd reason is Morrison was a devastating body puncher. Something Wilder has NEVER faced.
With all that real-estate of his long lean body as a target, and his lack of defensive skills, Morrison could very well break Wilder in half with that powerful left hook ( one of the most powerful hooks in heavyweight history, and he was quick with it)
I believe a lot of you are selling Morrison short, as you do Gerry Cooney.
Morrison beat better opponents than Wilder is with his wins against Ruddock, P.Thomas, Foreman, Williams, and Tillis.
The only fighter I would give Wilder a chance against on your list is Golata, who was extremely unpredictable. But even in that fight, Golata if he's at his best would beat Wilder.
If Fury's physical tactics completely overwhelmed Wilder, imagine how he'd react to one of the more physical , and dirty fighters of the 1990's.
Wilder is completely overrated like all of the heavyweights of the past ten years.
    Yes that definitely includes Usyk.

    Loses to Mercer late TKO
    Wins against Morrison mid KO
    Loses to Tua late TKO
Close fight with Moorer leaning towards Moorer MD
    Wins against Golota mid KO

Favorite over all. A sweep is possible, but Tua or Mercer might catch him.

Morrison, Golota, and Moorer last less than a round cumulative.

Moorer wouldn’t last twelve with Wilder over a million fights.

Chisora said Wilder still has the power but he loads it up/it has a tell, even prime Wilder telegraphed, so bad that Ali could have countered it with one of his lead rights

That doesn't mean he won't catch one of those guys, but Foreman spent the fight lulling Moorer into a false sense of timing and power with his right and the one he put Moorer out with was something that wasn't seen coming

Wilder doesn't have that kind of skill or ring IQ, Moorer and Morrison are 50/50, depends if Moorer is requiring Atlas speeches, Wilder has the dog in him to brawl with Morrison but Morrison was more skilled but also chinny

He has the best chance against Golota, Mercer and Tua are the most dangerous
