Wilder usually takes a while to find his range but Breazeale is very easy to hit, so he might find his range sooner than in most of his fights and land that big right hand of his. But Breazeale if anything is durable and tough, he won't just fold, Wilder will need to break him down. I'd be surprised if Wilder stops him early, think it's going to take more than just the odd big bomb to finish off Breazeale. Wilder I think will stop him late. But Wilder has to be careful, Breazeale is dangerous and tends to fire back when hit, so Wilder can't just try and plow right through Breazeale, because he could get caught by one of Breazeale's wild swings.
I see several posters with the theory that Breazeales reach, power and chin will cause Wilder problems. I don't get it. Wilder has taken down tall fighters in the past. Breazeale looks slow and easy to hit, not just AJ; Mansour and Izu hit him lots too. That's not a good sign for a Wilder fight.
breazale really isnt that limited. i dont think he will win or anything but has a decent amateur back ground . hes just as limited as wilder. but wilder still catches him and hurts him and then puts him away.
AJ made him look real bad I’ll tell you that I don’t know maybe that was Braz worst fight due to nerves Im hyped on this fight
Breazeale was in the best shape in his entire career in that fight .He knew he had to be .Minus the second round where he stumbled across the ring he was able to take solid shots 5 more rounds after that. If he can get in that 255 slim shape again it will be his best bet, cant see him being overweight for this one . Counter punchers have given him trouble who are aggressive, some were southpaws some were both ( his last fight ), but Wilder is none of this . Joshua is a 6'6 one, Wilder will not make it look so easy , effortless like that he doesn't have the style nor skills , if this ends early he'll have to connect swinging for the fences because he's not out boxing Breazeale ,but the problem is like we all know if wilder can make it LOOK close he'll get the rounds at Barclays. Cant see this going the full 12. Breazeale will go out on his shield and not risk a bad decision over this guy. If you noticed a trend with Joshua its everyone shows up with their A game. ALL fighters do with champion almost always, its why its harder to hold on to a title and defend it with going long breaks without losing. But there's a HUGE contrast in what opponents showed up for Joshua compared to Wilder , Wilder getting a top guy for AJ ( Breazeale ) is like Wilders top TWO opponent. I don't think People realize this , I don't think they realize style wise this opponent is going to be wilders second biggest threat. 1. Height 2. Power 3.. durability This is Breazeale . If wilder makes any major mistake its going to end badly for him.. Breazeale is a TOP finisher.
If Wilder V Breazeale happens a few things to note is the following , Wilder is coming back after a suspicious draw he NEEDS to win this big-time if he has any chance of gaining respect from boxing fans or his peers . A shaky fight against Ortiz (not in good shape) a ruinous decision draw against Fury (not in good shape either) tells us a lot . Wilder has picked his opponents very carefully at the best time for him and it has back fired incredibly , and these are his two best opponents and not even in their top shape either . WILDER IS THERE FOR THE TAKING! If Breazeale focuses and takes the situation into consideration he can really put a HUGE spanner in the works . Wilder is gonna come out aggressive because he needs to win in dominating fashion or else . Wilder cannot handle pressure . I really want Breazeale to pull off the upset it would be good for boxing and really put the Wildettes into conspiracy theory madness . Imagine just imagine if Breazeale genuinely draws against Wilder or makes it too the end . That would be a win for Breazeale in my eyes . HERE COMES TROUBLE!!!
