My guess is this was all a stunt to make Wilder interesting again then have the fight "fall through" so Wilder unfortunately HAVE to fight another no-hoper just like they did when the Ortiz fight first "fell through" and Wilder then unfortunately "HAD" to fight Stiverne II like we didnt know that was coming all along.

I just have a hard time seeing him actually even fighting Breazeale since even that is a big risk for Wilder, unless they might be able to reach an agreement where Breazeale does an imitation of Malik Scott.

He's 30 years old he's had two fights, he was only off for 2 1/2 years anyway. It's not like he was George Foreman taking 10 years off. What does he have to lose? The other guy only fights once a year anyway. If he waits he's going to have another mental freakout episode or balloon up in weight, just get the damn fight over.

Stormed the ring? Wilder was asked into tbe ring I'm sure. Wilder even let Fury carry his belt around the ring.

Tyson and his fans said he'd Whoop Wilder with no tune ups due to his lack of technique and experience. I think ESPN don't know **** but if Fury pulls out now he deserves to lose whatever respect he had left. If you are not ready why call him out and tell the fans they fight is happening? Also Warren said the fight would be announced this week and nothing. Patented UK mind/duck tactics? I don't take anything Fury or his band say seriously.

Whyte is a 6 round fighter masquerading as a championship contender, with that said I'd love to see that fight but not instead of Fury or AJ.

Foreman basically started over on his comeback and took years to work his way up to world level.

It seemed clear from their body language both fighters did already know they wouldn't fight each other NEXT.

They should fight on the same card in Vegas imo.

Wilder vs Breazeale and Fury vs an American fighter a step up from his last opponent.

I'd like to see Fury take on somebody tall (and not too soft like Pianeta) in November, and then perhaps Wilder-Fury in New York on St Patrick's Day week in March 2019.

I agree, as long as Fury is reasonable fit, I'd rank the fights in this order (no1 being the fight I'd prefer the most):
    1. Wilder - AJ
    2. Wilder - Fury (fit not fat :p )
    3. Wilder - Whyte
    4. Wilder - Current Fury

Probably that Wilder is waiting for Dillian Whyte to arrange a fight first then he's not suggested by Showtime as an alternate

You write a well put together piece, spelling and punctuation 10 out of 10.
However you show your true colours, be it nationalistic pride or you are just a fanboy. The biggest giveaway is where you say 2 UK champions have avoided Wilder, yet Wilder was offered a contract and dilly dallied, agreed then changed his mind. So no AJ did not avoid anyone. If Fury pulls out its will have nothing to do with avoiding Wilder, more to do with Fury is not ready. If you think that is avoiding after what has happened over the last 3 years then you DKSAB and should stop posting on a sport where Fighters die
