he only fights bums like Nicolai Firtha, if they are tall. even then he got put on ***** street by a bums jab.
ducking every prime challenge to date has to qualify as a reason. he has fought bums, washed up guys, and short guys with no power.
The concern here for Wilder is if this fight gets moved back to Feb/March how can he guarantee it ever happens? What is stopping Fury from delaying it even more, or from going off the rails again? How long can Fury stay away from the party lifestyle for?
Not surprising at all Underneath all of the recent excitement of this fight possibly happening, let us not forget how mentally unstable Fury really is
We were told over a week ago That the fight was 99% done and we would get all the details within the week. Now total radio silence. I'm not going to call it just yet, but it's starting to look like this might have **** the bed. It's a BAD look for Fury if true.
Are we surprised? Some of us were saying that it's probably all for publicity and to smear AJ and Hearn. Funny how Fury is rambling on about shithouses and cowards when he has been playing us along the whole time. I don't want to blow my own trumpet but ... Told ya.
Nobody should be surprised if this fight doesn't happen. Said when it was first made public that the timing was suspicious with Fury about to fight Pianeta seemed like he was just using Wilder's name as publicity to generate interest in the Pianeta fight, which it did. Fury is a lot of things but he's no mug he knows how to have the media pay attention whether it be for good or bad reasons and so it shouldn't surprise anyone if this was just all a publicity stunt from Fury. If he does pull out I won't even blame Fury to be honest it was transparent what he was doing, he's not ready but that won't stop him using Wilder and the media to build interest in his latest comeback fight. Some people will no doubt blame him and be angry that it's not happening but they should be angry at themselves for being so gullible people should know how Fury operates by now. Will I feel sorry for Wilder, no not really it's not like he hasn't done the same thing and used Joshua's name to build his own profile and back out of a fight at the final hurdle. Wilder will no doubt be a hypocrite and play the victim but that's just the smart thing to do, gotta keep playing the game and keep spinning things to make himself look good by saying he is being ducked again, that's how fighters build fan bases.
