I don't think Helenius will last that long. He has no defence what so ever. He'll come out and try to KO Wilder early and get KO brutally himself.
Since when do PPVs have the entire undercard settled before they announce the main event, site and date? It’s not like the public has to make up their mind to buy it or not today.
I do agree on paper that Wilder should dispatch him rather easily and early . But Wilder hasn't won a fight since 2019, and there's the question of how's his punch resistance after being beaten up and stopped. That being said I expect an early stoppage but would not be surprised if some unexpected drama were to take place
So much for all the naysayers saying that Wilder would never fight again, wether people like Wilder or not the Heavyweight division is certainly more exciting with him in it .
Helenus isn't the best bum rusher but he's employed such tactics before & can do it...Duhapaus bum rushed Wilder and did ok.
Not the worst fight on paper, not the most easy blend of styles on the eye. Im not sure what numbers the PPV will do given Wilder will sleep him within 2
Other than the Stanford-Notre Dame game on NBC that evening, nothing to compete against it. Should be big night. Could it be the largest US ppv of the year? Could it outsell Canelo-Golovkin 3?
Helenius is better than some of the guys he was defending his WBC belt against. Good fight both can go with the first proper blow landed
