A few years ago I wouldn't have dreamt of backing Wilder to beat Joshua but I can't see any other outcome now

AJ had the tools to beat Wilder but whilst he is reluctant to let his hands go he has no chance.

    Wilder lands its game over
Joshua being gun shy and thinking he's a boxer rather than a fighter is the wrong mentality, joshua hasn't let his hands go for a long time,he's too scared of what's coming back,in my opinion he never really got over the ruiz defeat

Have always thought Wilder knocks out AJ and that hasn’t changed.

I agree, but I remember a ferocious Hector Camacho that became a different fighter after the Edwin Rosario fight, Joshua is still a top 5 heavy, and a talented fighter, but he's clearly gunshy and/or mentally compromised from his big hitting gunslinger days, he overthinks and seems to panic under fire. I do think Wilder would always have beaten him for some reason though, and even though both are diminished, I think Wilders heart and unpredictability (not to mention that cannon of a right hand) see's him prevail in what would be a heart in the mouth/don't get up for a ****/beer/snack classic!

I agree that he has changed since Ruiz. I do hope they fight regardless of who wins, it will not be a borefest mate!

Everybody talks about how Joshua will fold the first time Wilder lands. Nobody is talking about what happens at the other end? I don't think Wilder has every fought a legitimate puncher or known finisher. Joshua was able to weather the storm from Klitschko and Povetkin and win the fights. Would Wilder have survived the early pressure from those fights? Wilder was the one for years known to have a poor chin and awful defence. The Fury trilogy is clouding the reality of what Wilder is or more importantly isn't.

Tbf to Wilder he knocked Ortiz out when Ortiz was only in his 70s, peak years for the young Cuban.

I think they’re both shot mentally and don’t want to fight anymore. I don’t think the fight will happen and I don’t care about seeing it at this point. We’ll never know who would’ve won in their primes.

I think wilder wins early. If Joshua gets through the first 6 rounds I think Joshua takes over the fight. I know wilder carries his power later on in fights but he looks knackered.

The time when I was seeing it as 50:50 is past, AJ changed to bad because of mentality. And now I see it like 60:40 for Wilder or even a bit higher.

I’m going with AJ stops him within 8 rounds, I do see AJ getting hurt in this fight but coming threw it. I think AJ will catch Wilder and put a beating on him while he’s gassed dropping him a few times before the ref stopping it

    AJ by TKO 6-9

He never got over the beating Klitschko gave him. If he wasn't let off the hook in that fight his career would never have taken off like it did.
