I also thought it was one of my favorite fights in recent years. Up to the ring walk you knew this was going to be a real fight!

agree completely on this point. i have been quite vocal, pre-Ortiz, of how bad i thought Wilder was, yet yesterday i spent all day on social media trying to convince people that "AJ walkover. KO in first 6 rounds" isn't as inevitable as they think. he is a REAL live dog in this fight, ive got AJ favourite but only about 60-40/55-45

Great post there Kirk, enjoyed the read.

    Also, I feel you Hammer.

Critics will be critics. Someone always has to find the worse in people and start the "Diarreha of the Mouth" spew. It's the negativity that attracts others and not the good things people do. Shameful really. Who cares of Wilder was KD'd by lesser opponents back in the day. Who cares if Wilder has chicken legs. Who cares if he speaks with a southern twang. The dude is KO'ing people, his fights are always entertaining, exciting press conferences, he's always in shape, and he brings it. Isn't that why you watch the sport, for the entertainment value?

Saying Ortiz beats this guy or that guy is pure speculation.
