Wilder's chin is a bit suspect.

12 hours until the ring entrance.

Wilder winning the poll 86-78 votes. I am expecting over 200 votes before the fight starts like before the Joshua vs Wlady and Haye ve Bellew fights.

Sky do it a lot, they have football matches on two channels, probably one of them is HD ready.

Either way, bad reporting from whatever newspaper.

An Ortiz UD is very possible IMO, if he can enter the ring even 85% of his 2012-2015 shape, speed, and skill level. If Gerald Washington could subdue Wilder with a single jab, one at a time, an Ortiz anywhere near his prime will do the same. A big IF though, as he hasn't looked anything near his prime in years now IMO.

Ortiz KO3, Wilder is predicting KO3 if he goes for the KO he’s going to take a counter punch and go to sleep!!!!!

Wilder may run and stink it out and win a questionable decision but I honestly think Kong is gonna connect and Wilder is going out!!

Do you think so? Have you watched his older matches when he had bleached hair for example? Those were so impresive, but he was much younger and so much faster back then vs today.

He’s slipped a little but Wilder has fought no punchers, he was being outclassed until he connected vs Gerald Washington, Molina shook him badly and Spzilka was outboxing him!! Ortiz is still light years better than those guys in my eyes. Age matters the least at Heavyweight and power is the last thing to go, I think the old man is gonna pull this off!!!!

The judges had Wilder up in that fight.

Ortiz REALLY has to do a number on Wilder for him to get a decision win...

No one can seriously say they will give Ortiz a close fight...can't see it.

Man, I just realized after reading your post. How ridiculous was that? They had Wilder up against Washington at the time of the PBC stoppage haha. Oh man, what were they watching?

Wilder is in fact not going for an early kayo. Don't be fooled by his "prediction".
He's coming in very light at 214 pounds and is going to move. Question is if he will be able to deny his own nature and discipline himself. Also if he's able to keep his balance whilst moving and punching. Depends on maturity and discipline. Might go in for the kill if he sees Ortiz tire in the later rounds.

Personally, I'll be surprised if he pulls this off.

Ortiz and corner will catch on to him and his strategy and find a way to make him throw bombs ... and walk into a counter.

It's gonna be chess and Ortiz is the more advanced player.

If Ortiz is 41, Wilder should win. I think Wilder plays it safe and takes a points win, but does not impress as much as he needs to.

My overriding feeling is that Wilder stops Ortiz. Reasonably level fight until Wilder catches Ortiz, floors him and then finishes the job.

Ortiz is a dangerous fight and will be Wilder's biggest test - same applies to Ortiz.

I'm torn in that I'm a huge Ortiz fan and will be rooting for him. But, I also want to see Wilder - Joshua!
