Ortiz by stoppage. Too skilled, too powerful, too hungry, too young, too old. I can see Wilder going down from the first counter that lands. If the same Wilder who fought Nichols shows up, he will get up from that punch. If not, it's over.

Ortiz doesn't seem as good as he was back when he fought Jennings but I believe he will stop Wilder after 3-4 rounds nonetheless.

Am I the only one who cannot imagine that Wilder stops Ortiz?

    wilder IMO can stop anyone
he has the levarage /speed and length on his punches to put ortiz down

ortiz does not have a lot of head movement / relies on watching /deflecting his opponents punches / looking to counter on mistakes when wilder in this case overextends

but wilder catches ortiz with a speed straight right down the pipe ortiz will not walk through it /
well for wilders sake he better not

hurting ortiz early and making ortiz wary is a way for wilder to make more mistakes than he should and get away with them.

its just you see wilder in such poor position time and time again after throwing a big punch and missing you have to think ortiz will capitalize.

Just looked it up. A news article from four hours ago says it is on sky sports action, is that the same as PPV? I really hope not. It is a challenge enough staying up until 3:30, now I have to pay £20 too.

It's not PPV, it's on Sky Sports Action. No one would buy that PPV at 4am in the UK.

I fancied Wilder initially but just got a feeling Ortiz might land something big.

I think Wilder wins on points. He'll use his height, reach and speed to out box Ortiz.

Not a confident pick though, Wilder is open to be countered and Ortiz is an adept counter puncher.

I see Wilder winning quite comfortably.

Love him or hate him for whatever reason, the man possess serious power.

Ortiz has easily the best looking fight reel versus quality opposition imho, and I really want him to win but I am not 100% confident. I have bet on him to win because I think the bookmakers have the odds ****ed up here in NZ (he's given almost no chance lol) BUT thats not necessarily because I am certain he's going to win.

I view Ortiz as the better fighter by a margin but Wilder's athleticism, reach and power make it an uphill battle for Ortiz.

On that note, I decided to vote Ortiz. I feel he has the tools to be able to do it and know that Wilder is the safer bet, but I'm going to put my neck out on this one.
