    Ortiz could go both ways.

Joshua will KO Wilder in three rounds tops.

i am simply amazed team wilder made this fight

if i was his manager ortiz like every other manager is the fighter i would avoid

ortiz is poor coming forward chasing his man / he is the best in the division as a counter puncher

i dont think he was ever stopped in the amatuers / when you think of all the cuban heavys he faced that is shows reliabilty of his chin over a short fight

wilder has boxed **** recently being easily outboxed by very mediocre fighters his power getting him out of trouble / against ortiz unlike every single opponent he has faced he is fighting someone who will punish him when he makes a mistake on offense and has enough power to make wilder box cautious.

wilder has the abilty to fight to a gameplan and win / just its that abilty means **** all if you dont have a gameplan / winging it hoping to land a ko punch v ortiz IMO will lead to wilder losing this fight.

i am picking ortiz in this one / i beleive wilder has more potential than ortiz as a fighter / but his **** poor opposition has lead to him fighting in a **** poor sloppy way .

I thought this too until I realised that Wilder fighting Ortiz takes away Joshua's mandatory for the WBA, so if Wilder is confident of beating Ortiz it means that he faces Joshua next after Pulev rather than having to wait for two more fights (AJ vs Pulev then Ortiz).

Makes business sense, but only if Wilder wins.

AJ would KO Wilder inside 6 rounds. Easy work.

hearn can make a lot more money from an american heavy like wilder than ortiz .

hearn must be jumping for joy that wilder is taking this fight / win win for him.

takes ortiz out of the mandatory position and makes wilder a money name if he wins.

if i was hearn i would always make th e wilder fight / i would not take the ortiz fight even if ortiz wins / way to beat ortiz is stick and move / use speed and length from the outside / ortiz has slow feet but sharp eyes and relexes for a counter once a fighter gets in the pocket with him.

there is of course one factor i have not put in / historically cuban heavys once in big fights and guaranted a big payday lose intrest and will to win .

i think ortiz is the exception but seen so many once a fight gets hard they simply fold .

Well yeah I mean that why I said it was a good business decision.

Ortiz is no money for anyone, and by Wilder taking this fight it means the AJ/Wilder fight can happen sooner.

baffles me why wilder did not take 4 million hearn offered him for the whyte fight / ortiz imo as on a way different level than whyte and i dont think wilder will take that much for a ortiz fight despite me having ortiz as the favourite.

wilder had to **** or get off the pot but this is very high risk no reward.

As much as I don't like Wilder, it could happen, he has that much power you simply can't write him off despite how flawed and rubbish he looks

i would be surprised if he beats aj

    he makes too many mistakes

there is a reason why beyonce

    faces such average opposition

That's right. People think Malik Scott took a dive against Wilder but I dont buy it. He got hit straight down the pike in R1 from a fresh strong wilder.

Wilder isn't good enough to become the undisputed HW Champ. AJ beats him easily.

I also think Ortiz will beat him.

Oh no I think that was a dive / fear from the reputation Wilder has for power

I think Washington is an example of not being able to write wilder off. Imo he got outboxed like mad but then he turns on his wimdmills and, As bad as it looks, they're gonna hurt you whether it hits your head or arm and people go into panic mode haha, completely turned the fight around when he stepped it up

Agreed, as bad as Wilder can look those windmills are deadly and he can clap you with them at anytime.
