It's not his power, he just hits the pads on the edges, twisting the padguy's hand and wrist

Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Wlad all hit very very hard and had very small padmen in Freddie roach, Kevin Rooney, Emmanuel steward and this never happened because they were sharp on the pads

Agreed he probably is hitting the pads incorrectly but at the end of the day does it really matter how he connects on the fighter across the ring?

I think we are over analyzing his inaccuracies. Part of Wilders positive attributes is his unorthodox approach and hitting a stagnant pad dead center won’t mean much to him when he faces Fury.

Well, it kind of does matter how he connects on his opponents. Half of his KO’s come after he lands his punches behind his opponents ears, closer to the back of the head. He has a terrible aim / accuracy and is called windmill for a reason.
He’s winning, yeah, everyone who gets in the ring 40 or so times as a pro and KO’s almost all of his opponents has some skills but his opponents so far have let him get away with all his flaws and he’s got his team of 25 managers to thank for it.

No there’s some well thought out strategy behind his success. We’ve all seen him land pin point punches but they are way to inconsistent. He’s one of those fighters who’s greatest traits can easily be purposed as his greatest flaw. The guy is beyond passionate when he hits his stride and goes full barbaric mode at that point it’s a race to see what comes out on top, enegery and determination or well schooled fundamentals. He’s an egnima with unbridled confidence and athleticism and he’s going to facing his antithesis in December. Fury has been sold to us as a larger modern day Ali in many ways and he’s going to facing his Big George, only difference is I just don’t see Fury avoiding all the inventible distance closing eruptions that will surely come from Wilder.

Deontay's got such devastating power indeed. No man is brave enough to hold the pads, after they felt Wilder's true power. Gonna need to start using some bomb squad members to hold the mitts if this keeps up.

No man has big enough palms for Wilder not to miss them.
It’s all fingers or wrists with him.

Team Wilder may want to consider holding up a mattress next time so Wilder won't miss.

    King size.

    Panic in the gym,
    The trainers got the shits,
    He's realised it's his turn,
    To hold Deontay's mitts,
He wants to spare his fingers
From the force of Wilders fists,
But the pad won't do much good,
    If Deontay hits his wrists,
Now the pad work has begun
    And soon the trainer hisses,
    It only took a second,
For him to feel Deontay's misses,
It's not easy being a trainer,
When Wilder is trying to aim,
At the pad that's on your hands,
    But his targeting is lame,
