I was gonna say this. His power was based on speed (his hands are like whips that generate more power with speed), his hands are heavy but moreso windmills. Hence the clear power outtage.
Despite being huge and muscular, Dubois is as durable as a dorito and has the heart of a mouse. He is the Bob Sapp of boxing. Forgive me for not showering Usyk with praise for stopping a weak-willed guy he already beat once. As others said, Herndon was a tune up fight after a 1 year layoff and a bad KO loss, yet Wilder still stopped him, dropping him twice. I'm not sure how you're holding that against Wilder. Wilder dropped Chisora about 4x, knocked him out the ring twice. It's not his fault Chisora's corner and even the referee cheated literally helping him get up, or that the referee let Chisora take a "breather" on multiple occasions.
You're seemingly the guy putting forward the argument that Wilder has some kind of legendary KO power, so where's your evidence for that? He hasn't knocked out any opponent which you wouldn't expect Anthony Joshua to knock out, in fact Joshua has also knocked out the shared opponents. What really goes against the argument that Wilder has extraordinary power, isn't just the lack of quality in the opponents he has stopped, Luis Ortiz is the only HW you would put, potentially, in the Top 20 of Wilder's Era that he has stopped.....But why do his opponents get up so often? I wouldn't expect, at Heavyweight, for his opponents to get up from knockdowns so often if he had such extraordinary power. There's nothing from Wilder's career, that you can suggest he is a legendary power puncher, there's nothing that even suggests he's the heaviest hitting HW of this Era. Too many poorly conditioned heavyweights have stood up to his power and got up off the canvas, including Fury and Chisora. A poorly conditioned Chisora, at 42 years of age, being able to get up over and over again and still walk forward and throw punches tells you all about how overrated Wilder's power is. Especially when you see what David Haye did to Chisora nearly 14 years ago.
