    I picked Benitez to win but one thing Chavez has going for him in this matchup is that he was so focused on punishing the body. If he could do that it would serve him well. Julio knew how to cut the ring and wear down good boxers with his heavy hands and precise inside fighting. I do think El Radar would have to dig deep

    I love Chavez. One of the true All Time Greats. But Benitez may be one of the very few people in history who might outpoint Julio at this weight.

    This is what I said back in 2017.
    If this is over 15 I'm not sure if Benitez has the strength to hold Chavez off. He has the skill mind you but hes awful young at this weight and his body hasn't physically matured. Chavez well hes a terminator so I think he might get to him at this stage. Really tough call.

    Awesome fight.

    No ****ing idea who wins and wouldn’t even want to take a guess at it. Maybe Chavez but by a bee’s *****…maybe.

    Benitez by moderately wide UD. He’s well suited stylistically to the fight but I admit I’m biased - Benitez is one of my absolute favourites of all-time.
