This would be a very fun fight. I'd pick Mayweather in a MD or SD. I think he can sway the judges more than Wilfred because he connects, it's usually very accurate and eye catching
I think benitez is one of the most underated fighters of all times. He should be named up there with the fab 4
El Radar was an awesome boxer/stylist its a shame what became of him. Someone posted he was better than anyone Floyd has faced and an argument can be made supporting that very statement. You have to understand though a good majority of fight fans wouldnt appreciate the brilliance unfolding in the ring if such a match up every happened.
Benitez also cant be hit but its a different kind of Defense than Floyds its more art than science with Benitez as he can stay in the pocket and on the ropes for 15 rds vs a devastating puncher and make him miss all night long. Mayweathers best defense is avoiding shots and being so good at defense that he wont step in the ring with a threat which is the very best line of defense. Benitez was the CHAMP AT 17, he fought Cervantes, Duran and Hearns and was never in any danger, he gave a clinic vs Duran and in my humble opinion was robbed vs Hearns. Mayweather is fighting ****ing Canelo Alvarez and he had to be forced by shwotime to do that, Benitez all day everyday and twice on Sunday.
