Thats exactly what he means though, cos Calzaghe is THE man just now, all of a sudden hes a true brit, english born & bred cockney wideboy. If old Popkins beats him though, Joes quickly going to become the welshman again.

Erm Chris was ahead on the cards in the second. Fair enough he looked like he had been battered but he was winning.

i've always admitted calzaghe is top dog in british boxing.

even when hatton beat tszyu and hammered castillo in 4 rds.

calzaghe has always delivered and is still going strong nearly 15 yrs after he turned pro.

    It is surprising isn't it?

Hopkins is a future HOFer, he beat the highest rated lightheavyweight and one of the best P4P fighters in his last two fights. No wonder he's being disrespected and being taken lightly. He sucks!:-(

What people don't seem to get is that the more Hopkins is disrespected the worse it will be for Calzaghe's legacy if he happens to lose. Hell, right now the way people are talking, beating Hopkins won't mean a thing. Way to help your favourite fighter's legacy guys. You might want to talk about Hopkins in a positive light. then if Calzaghe wins, it will actually mean something.:yep

    :patsch

None of the other old timers were this good.

Yet people were duped Into thinking Hatton did more and needed Floyd to cure them from thinking that.
