Anything is possible, I guess. Depends on who he fights and beats in the future but I don't see him being dominant at even 154 or 160 so I am hard-pressed to picture him as an all-time great. Mayweather and Pac are the atgs in this generation.
Perception on him has to change for him to be considered as ATG. Although a lot of people doesn't share this opinion of mine, I consider Canelo a small fighter at 160. He is smaller at height, reach and every body measurements. He can only make weight. If you try and see him as a small fighter in MW yeah he might be regarded as one. That is he cleans MW and gets a good title from SMW.
Just because Marquez kicked Pac's ass doesn't make him an atg imo. Great fighter and Hall of Fame, no doubt but atg status is hard to achieve in my book. lol You probably consider Horn an atg also.
Maybe. Funny, I never knew you were on the Marquez bandwagon given your accusations of his ped use being the sole reason that he put Pac in a near comatose state.
Nah, I think it's obvious Marquez is something special. I also think Pac is greater, but no ordinary fighter could take fights off Pac like that.
I agree that Marquez is something special, however calling him an atg is a reach in my book. Some fighters just have other fighters number. Hearns is one of my favorite fighters and an atg imo but Barkley had his number.
Dude was roided to the gills and was the driving reason behind the KD and the KO. But he had to have the delivery system (his skill set) to deliver the payload.
wtf do you know? marquez outboxed, outfought, and ko'ed pac over 42 rds. pre peds, on peds, any time. thats what happened.
He lost to Mayweather, Golovkin, Lara and Trout but still only has 1 loss under his name + a PED user and drug cheat. He will enter the HOC. Hall of Cheating. For sure.
