If he won't, what do you people think about him and his team?

I've seen fighters duck other fighters for all sorts of reasons but I genuinely believe Canelo is terrified.

You really DKSAL if you really believe a 25 year old reaching his physical prime and living on top of the world is afraid of another boxer. It's purely projection on your part:deal

As close to a megafight as boxing has right now. THe fight would he even bigger next year, but the fans have spoken, we want it now.

I personally would have loved to see a build up card like Canelo vs Lemieux and GGG vs Lara in Sept then GGG/Canelo next may.

    Several things could happen..
    1. Canelo simply vacates the belt, fights whomever else but will receive scrutiny.
    2. Canelo fights an unification fight against either Jacobs or Saunders to avoid GGG
    3. Canelo fights GGG, he goes for it.
    4. Canelo tries to secure a fight with either Cotto/Pacquiao/Mayweather to avoid GGG.
    5. Somehow the WBC allows Canelo to keep his belt and continue fighting whoever else but GGG.

I'm curious which choice he makes.

Those would of been excellent match-ups instead of Wade and Khan. But like you said, the fans demand this fight to happen now.

You know, I really don't think Canelo was planning on fighting GGG after Khan, i mean how can fighting Khan prepare you for GGG?

How would that work since GGG is adamant that he will only fight at 160?

Do you really think he would drop those demands and then fight for no belt:huh

I think you got it twisted. DLH is the one who would prefer to let Canelo take on one or two more opponents before meeting GGG, it's that whole marination thing.

Up to now Canelo was just following the plan but he was obviously irked by all this "ducking" BS and let his youth and bravado win out and wants to prove he's not afraid of GGG. He's probably the one who told DLH, enough with the BS, let's get the fight made.:deal

It will happen sooner than I expected. Nelo is serious about fighting GGG and DLH is trying to make big fights so this will end up happening. At a catch weight of course. 157 or 158. Golovkin will give in to the demands but he will negotiate a higher weight than 155.
