Will Cotto vs. Marg II ever happen?

The damage speaks for it self. As many posters already said, why use loaded gloves on a guy that is older and that many thought Marg was going to beat, but yet you don't use it on a beast like Cotto. The proof is in the pudding.

 

There is no proof. People got nothing on the Cotto fight or any other before that.

No facts about bad wraps being used before only speculation.

Cotto needs to move on or look towards a rematch this isn't the correct way IMO to cope with a loss.

 

Cotto was set to fight him for the rematch.....but on principle why give the dirty low life sorry cheating ******* a payday?

 

Cotto can win. I saw enough in the first fight. It's not the type of fight were you think the loser has no chance at all in a rematch. And without the plaster, even better.

Why should Cotto give Margie a rematch.....? He doesn't deserve it.
He was set to do so, until this revelation came out.....
Margie should have criminal charges filed against him and those that blindly support him as well should accompany him on that state paid vacation...as accomplices......stoopid *******s.

 

If Billy Collins, Jr.'s trainer did not shake hands with Resto, then Resto would have gone on to keep fighting. I know I am reaching here due to not having proof, but come on man, just look at Cotto's face after the fight. Marg is not a power puncher and I hope Cotto does put this behind him and moves forward. He still has the right to be pissed for a while.

 

yeah why not? he has nothing to lose. i got into a fight once and i got the **** beat out of me. a few weeks later i did the same. besides the fact, since margo is gonna be watched like a hawk. ss robinson never lost twice to anyone. and even if by some fickle finger of fate cotto would lose again that would only cement his legacy. but i dont see the same thing happening to cotto.

 

Depends on who Cotto is fighting under. If Miguel splits from Arum it's not as likely to happen. If Cotto is still a Top Rank fighter, I can almost promise you they'll fight again.

 

Heres the funny thing about that. Back in the day in Scottland, in their legal system they had innocent, guilty, or guilty without proof. If found guilty without proof you were still released but with everyone thinking you were guilty, just no actual evidence stating so. Kind of Like OJ. Hence the term scott free. Margaritos probably laughing in his oakley sunglasses and half button shirt with the thick gold chain right now.

 

So was it plaster in his wraps or was the padding just removed?
