Will Daniel Dubois quit after Fabio Wardley lands a few hard punches?

He dropped Usyk with a below the belt shot and quit when it didn't work.

 

Who else would you like to see test Wardley’s chin other than Dubois? Zhang can only give you four strong rounds, Ajagba is tied up with Zuffa, Itauma shares the same trainer, Teremoana and Jalolov are still prospects, Joshua and Wilder are past their best, and Bakole is fat. That is a very good fight; however, Agit Kabayel isn’t in the WBO’s top 15 rankings, and he seems content to hold on to his WBC interim position so he can fight Usyk. His recent fight with a the no name Polish opponent shows this.

I am not, hahaha. If Wardley wants to make a defense, he must go by the ranking; this is common knowledge. Dubois is the best opponent for him to face.

 

I do not think Dubois will fold psychologically, as i do not think Wardley has the boxing skills to make Dubois think of quitting, now if Wardley does connect then Dubois like a lot of fellow heavies could fold, but for legit reasons as Wardley does carry dynamite in his fists to the final bell.

That said Dubois is not exactly featherfisted himself, how will Wardley cope if Dubois lands flush on his chin?

I must admit i am looking forward to this bout more so than AJ vs Fury, as at least Wardley and Dubois are at their relative peaks.

 

This is another fight that I am getting more uncertain about the closer it gets. Wardley has looked domestic level at times, such as the first Clarke fight, and the Huni fight (minus the KO) - and for all the talk of Wardley's toughness, he has never faced someone who hits like Dubois. I consider the Parker win better than the Dubois-Joshua win, for their respective points in their careers.

I can see Wardley getting too trigger-happy and actually getting hurt by Dubois, and then I can see Dubois getting trigger-happy and getting caught himself. Really, it will come down to who lands the best shot first; it's the most exciting heavyweight fight at the moment. Gun to my head, I am actually gonna go for Wardley, but I am really not that confident. I think Wardley is very poor defensively, too easy to hit, and is buying into the hype that he has a better chin than Dubois, which may also not necessarily be the case.

 

Truth be told. I feel conflicted like I do with most of Wardleys fights... Both have the power to take the other out no question, but Dubois is by far the hardest hitter he's been in with. Main thing for me is momentum and how Dubois copes with being stopped by Usyk for the second time. The difference this time being he was stopped far earlier and more brutally and doesn't have the "low blow" controversy to help cope with the defeat. Wardley is still undefeated and has been on fire from the second Clarke fight onward. He's exceeded all of our expectations and then some. Dubois would have been wise to take a few tuneups before this one, and I think ultimately Wardleys momentum, heart and grit will see him through here. By no means a confident prediction though.

 

I give Dubois a lot of credit, after bad losses he didn't quit and stayed active and fought his way back. However, this is an extremely down era for the heavyweights and Dubois simply ain't all that. I'll go with Wardley as I think he'll outbox him and counter effectively . But at this level anything could happen

 

He'll quit when Wardley is unconscious.
