Sergio Mora was a junior middleweight champ many years ago. If the best guy on Golovkin's record was Kassim Ouma, I'd agree. But Golovki has since beaten a former middleweight champ and other top middleweight contenders.

And Jacobs has yet to face or beat Mora.

So, no.

Jacobs still the worst.

 

My point was that you cant judge a guys career whens he's only coming onto his 2nd title defence.

If you judged GGG after his 2nd defence, it wouldn't have looked too hot either

Caleb Truax is probably as good as Ouma or Simon

 

A guy's career? I'm judging him to this very moment. I said he's the worst middleweight champion in my lifetime.

He's had three middleweight title fights. He got KOed by one shot against Pirog (who was nothing before and was nothing after) in his first for a VACANT title. He defeated Jarrod Fletcher (whoever he was) for his SECOND VACANT title fight. And he faced Caleb Truax (a nobody) in the other.

Among all the middleweight champs in my life, that is the worst I can ever remember.

Sergio Mora has beaten better fighters (and not been destroyed by a single shot). So I'll take him, even though he'd typically be considered a low-point in middleweight championship history if he won, too.

Where would you have ranked GGG among the all time MWs before his fight with Fuchigami? Which is essentially what you're doing with Jacobs

 

Well, if he'd been knocked out in his first title fight, like Jacobs was, probably not very highly. Although, the Ouma win was pretty exciting.

 

Jacobs has very fast hands, but his ears create alot of wind resistance so he can't use any head movement. His ears are too big.
