i could see that happen, guys like povetkin call it a real belt i could see the guys who failed against K2 go for it or young guns go for it to establish before the bros retire

guys at the end of their rope like McCall and Holyfield may try to grab a final pay day because Wlad and Vitali are the piggy bank

All this bitching about the WBA regular title is infantile and tiresome. It's not like WBA stripped Wlad--Wlad is the WBA's champ!

This paper belt is a means of promoting fights, nothing more. The paper belt is good for Wlad--it helps build up a legit contender and Wlad only has to defend his Super Title every year and a half or so.

So what if Povetkin doesn't want Wlad? He doesn't believe he can beat Wlad...why is that so hard to understand? The minute Povetkin proclaims he can/will beat K2, then you can start criticizing him for ducking.

Its to the point where all the belts are bull****. Everyone knows who the HW champion is, he could throw all is belts in the garbage and quit paying the fees, he's still the ****ing champ and the man to beat.
But to answer the question, yes, the WBA is really to blame for why Wlad can't get a decent opponent, now they all want a shot at Povetkin who is likely a lot more beatable. Total bull****, I wish Wlad would throw his belts aside! Everybody who knows anything about boxing knows he's the man at HW.

I will take your worl for it, I did not even bother reading.

On a side note: Chitownfightfan was the first on ESB too bring attention regarding everyone lining up behind Povetkin. Tyson "The gypsy queen" Fury being the most recent.

Yeah it doesn't look promising. Are there any positives to come out of it though?

Only thing I can think of is a few more fights between top contenders but even then the winner/s will probably opt for soft defenses instead of a Wlad fight anyway.
