There approach is different. Mayweather because he's quicker to get off than Marquez, will have sucess in anticipating Pacquiao's punching rhythm and get off before he does. Not only do I believe Mayweather is quicker than Pacquiao, I believe he's much quicker than he is. In turn, Pacquiao is a fighter that does'nt like to punch when the other fighter is getting off. When the other guy gets off first, Pacquiao puts his arms at a high guard. On an episode of golpe a golpe with JMM, Marquez pointed out it was a Pacquiao weakness that he often probed. Marquez would get off a couple of punches upstairs with the intent of having Pacquiao use his high guard, in which immediately Marquez would hammer a right hand down Pacquiao's gut and follow it up with an uppercut between Pacquiao's high guard. On defense, Marquez has pointed out that Pacquiao is very predictable. Dont think for one second that Mayweather has not picked up on this.
You have to be the TBE troll on here MVC. congrats.... Because if you are serious with your crazy posts you need to be certified. Floyd Roid Mayweather couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding ROFLMAO
deal:deal on a side note, if Floyd already learned something from the Pac-JMM fights, then why was Floyd so adamant about drug testing that it is a very easy fight to begin with? :yep:hey
Well then i guess you missed how Hatton listened to his assistants game plan instead of senior and tried to brawl instead on box and that is why he walked into that punch. And sure you want to say Senior is a bad trainer because Roach said it right?
nothing wrong with drug testing, as Floyd fans mentioned, Pac's been KO'ed several times....fighting leftovers....and fights with JMM that Pac had difficulty with....on the flip-side, Floyd toyed with JMM in a single fight :deal never asked PED's testing from a bigger ODLH :deal never asked PED's testing from an undefeated Hatton :deal so why Pac? if it's really an EASY fight to begin with? :yep:hey
Watch the ****ing video dumbass. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4uH-qfQXy0 Sr. doesn't give any real coaching on how to counter this. He just uses it as an excuse to dish on Roach and left his fighter totally unprepared for that technique. That isn't a good trainer.
I did rewatch that fight. He did have him gun shy later in the fight so it seemed, and pac got hit with that right hand a lot n that fight. good call he did limit the combos in that fight. Till ktfo6' manny looked so much better in the 4th fight.
I dont believe Pacquiao was any better in fight 4 than he was in fight 3. The difference was in Marquez' riskier approach. Marquez loading up to land with power put him in a more vulnerable position to get hit in return. Fight 3's gameplan is more suited for Marquez' style and game, but anyone with an ounce of boxing knowleadge allready knew Marquez would never get judged fairly against Pacquiao and so enter Marquez' gameplan of fight 4 of kill or be killed.
Concreto was a walking sandbag and completely stripped off his loaded gloves. He's not making anyone gun shy.
Depends on how long it takes Floyd to really time him and figure him out Marquez was able to drop Mannys work rate but.....Even after dropping numerous rounds in a row in the first fight Manny still came out and got aggressive to bank some later rounds after being dominated for a stretch Manny can become gun shy but not for 12 rounds, he isn't the type of fighter to let a guy cruise to victory without gunning for it a little. I figure Pacquiao will at least risk himself to land unlike lots of guys who pack it in once Floyd begins timing and landing on them The thing that makes me most curious is if Floyd eventually walks down Manny and breaks him down inside like he has done with every other south paw
