Wow even Bob Arum admitted that the 14 days was offered before they walked away.

The arbitrator was being diplomatic by not stating any names. Thats part of what makes an arbitrator reputable.

However, the arbitrator's statements were in conflict with team Pac's public statements.

If you remember, team Mayweather were very quiet up until that point.

It's the Bob Arum propaganda machine at work.

"Look at us, we've submitted all of these different offers to Mayweather but he just doesn't want the fight and won't fight anyone who risks taking his 0"

I've never seen anything where Arum said that. And I'll not find any posts by you calling Arum a liar? Right?

And NO, they were NOT in conflict with what was said publicly. Just both sides negotiated in good faith and other such pablum.

I know the hate for Mayweather is beyond reason but are you serious about him being the one running after them to make the fight when it first broke down?.

What happened was his father and entire team were insulting the hell out of Pacquiao and his entire team, that didn't seem to phase Pacquiao and his team till they publicly started to call him a cheater and believing what they said all the way to demanding tests. If you ask me, that's the biggest slap on Pac's face and the sport in general, seeing how Pac is P4P#1, he basically believed comments from his father, a proven Roach and Pac hater, too seriously.

Pac and his team reacted the way anyone else with dignity and self respect would act, they accepted all the insults but it was taken so far they tried to add new set of rules for him, even if Pac wanted to take them, he wasn't put in a position to do so by the way the Mayweather team brought it up.

Was it as bad as calling Mayweather a cheater and trying to implement new set of rules in boxing?, I don't think so. Trash talking is normal when two huge names are set to fight, that's what brings interest. Though this one, I'm sure you will agree, was taken too far by team Mayweather.

The people that take his silence as afraid as newbies, I don't recommend taking comments from such idiots seriously at all. If he's scared he wouldn't be a professional boxer successful for so long, simple as that. He would be a janitor like these keyboard gladiators and fearless warriors posting are.

Arum mentioning other options is very good, if anything it should help Mayweather make a move. The point is Pacquiao has options, Mayweather doesn't good enough options. That's a part of the trash talking though in a negotiating sense, it's barely disrespectful as calling the other camp a group of cheaters that need to be tested.

Pacquiao might have said that but isn't this the second time these guys start negotiating?, that easily erases that comment right there. They were nearly set to go the first time they negotiated till the cheating allegations came out with new set of rules Pac had to humbly agree to. Now it's the same case, though this time Pac agreed to the tests and it looks like Mayweather thinks he deserves more money for beating Mosley. Well, Pacquiao has a case to make to. If Mayweather beat Mosley then Pac beat Cotto and Clottey in four months.

    Is this comment a joke?

Those weren't updates. Manny's team kept changing their story over and over. That is call CYA!

Manny doesn't want to fight unless he is on his super juice. USADA testing and get that can kicked!

What I said is correct even if I used a little bit of sensationalism.

After Arum and Co. walked away and said they were done with Mayweather and were making a fight with Clottey, we all know Mayweather's response where he said he made the 14 day concession and he wanted to whip Pac's punk a$$.

Schaefer even said they were still trying to make the fight.

    Mayweather Quote:
I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight."

This was after they started negotiating with Clottey.

Anyway, I hope the fight gets made. A set of fans will be eating crow, Another set will be serving it, and yet another set will vanish from esb.
