Will Floyd try to cheat against the Boricua Power House Cotto?

Yea but he wasnt aggressive enough in some parts of his career..u need that killer instinct that Floyd has

 

I can agree on some of that...but remember when Marquez hit Floyd...Floyd had the powert to knock him down instantly

true but remember floyd did significantly outweight marquez in that fight, and got fined because he didn't make the agreed upon weight of 144.

 

Mayweather is going to make Cotto look like Gatti that's for damn sure.

 

i think it will look a lot like the mayweather bruseles fight, but slightlight more competitive. The fact that mayweathers doesn't use his legs as much as he once did is also bad news for cotto. because now mayweather's a lot more active and aggressive in the pocket.

 

Bro did u see him sparring?..Floyd was flatfooted so he could show his offensive side, then when his right hand started hurting, he started running and boxing on the backfoot just to show that he still had his legs...Floyd is in his prime man Im sorry, he repolished his skills and took it to the NEXT level....Its gonna be EXACTLY like Mayweather vs Gatti, cuz he fixed every flaw he had in the Ortiz fight, and added on top of it...I think Cotto gets stopped within 5 rounds, cuz this new Mayweather is allot sharper, more aggressive, bigger, stronger, and faster, than the Mayweather who fought Brussles...Floyd been getting better each and every fight

 

Floyd is going to beat Cottos ass. Floyd doesn't need to cheat and nor has he ever cheated in a fight.

 

Hey thats a good point...but the point that Im making, is that Floyd didnt have the power to hurt Marquez, no matter how big he was....it wasnt until Marquez landed cleanly, that Floyd had the power to drop him!..At no other point, did he have the power to drop him!

 

you're right when floyd does get hit he wants to answer back with punishing blows. and when he starts landing those sharp counter punches he has a real look of malice on his face. you could see it in the mosley fight, he definitley has some dog in him.

 

Disagree. I think Floyd could have definitely stopped Marquez if he put on the gas. Floyd always cruises if he's winning the fight easily. He doesn't become aggressive unless the other fighter is aggressive. It has never been about the KO with Floyd.

 

He had 12 rounds, and hit him as hard as he could...never dropped him, until he was mad..but aside from that, this NEW Mayweather is different from the one that fought Marquez...I actually think no one can last 12 rounds with him now...with his new power, and the amount of punches he's throwing in sparring, I see everyone getting TKO'd

 

mayweather's definitely capable of breaking a lot of opponents down and stopping them but i'm not sure he TKO's everyone. He may very well tko cotto (I believe he will), but remember this fight is at 154, floyd's only been there once before against oscar and he didn't look as strong as he did at 147, although that may have had more to do with oscar's great chin.

 

Oscar's chin, plus the fact that Floyd had barely moved up to welterweight...I think that Floyd is allot bigger and stronger now, and he crushed Ortiz, who weighed 164..Floyd's throwing allot of punches, so we will see what happens...I wanna see a great fight

 

10oz gloves didnt help either.
