It seems strange saying this as it’s the thing he’s done that deserves most praise. But I’ve just been sat here thinking I wonder if losing so much weight within the year is going to take its toll on the body in a gruelling fight?
Depends on how he did it, and then it still can go both ways. If he really trained like a madman to lose the extra person he was carrying around with him then it might actually benefit him, but can also severly weaken him if it was just about losing that weight. If he took shortcuts to lose the weight it would clearly benefit him, unless he fails a test and that would obviously mean his downfall again. Very hard to tell at this time. But I think he's going to get KO'd anyway.
That’s one thing that does bother me mate. We only had to look at Bellew and how he gassed in the fight with Usyk despite looking in tremendous shape. I’m clinging to the fact it’s been done over the course of a year, gradually...he did 10 rounds quite comfortably in his last fight but he’ll get asked more questions in this one. Fury by KO.
I'm no sports scientist but i can't see how he will ever be the same after all he has done to his body. And i think thats why he's taken a big payday so quickly after two disappointing fights.
