This. Fury is definitely at his best at 245. At 250+ he's easier to hit and his handspeed suffers. His mobility and timing along with his size completely befuddled Wlad. Besides Wilder Fury when he's in shape is the only big man in the division that has mobility and stamina.
yes he will be in top condition again. Coming for you bums! He is down from 340 to 300 pounds currently.
I do feel I can relate, but of course at the same time I can't begin to understand where his issues come from. the fact that he can do things 100% right (get into shape) or 100% wrong (blow up fast) is something I can really relate to. even though I never put on weight that badly, it was more a question of lifestyle. he certainly has some home truths he needs to make peace with though, because as I said before, if you are still drinking to excess and taking drugs after you have children, then there's a real problem there.
At 6 feet 9 inches tall he does not need to come all the way down to 250, perhaps 270 would be OK, but not above that, however, I have read that he is losing the weight rather quickly lately............
At 270 he will be carrying extra weight. Check out how flabby he looks at 260 and then draw a comparison to the Klitschko fight when he weighed 245. It's surprising that a man his height has such a small optimal best weight range.
If Fury was serious about returning to the ring he'd be 255 lbs since a year already. It's very very easy to lose excess weight unless you're a lazy sack of sh** like he is.
He had it all for a single night before he let it go downhill fast. You could see a pattern throughout his career that involved bad dietary habits and major fluctuations in weight. His current state is less of a surprise than it is more of a disappointment.
