It's funny when you put that in perspective. People grow in their early to mid 20's and some in their late 20's. Kell Brook started his career at welterweight at the age of 18. It's not farfetched to say that without a team and facility as experienced as his that he wouldn't have been able to make 147 for as long as he did.

yeah I agree,Brooks fight with GGG highlighted to everyone just how much weight Kell Brook has to get rid of,I've often wondered about Brook as I have Canelo about all that weight they cut and the hell they do each time,Canelo making 154 was nothing short of a miricle?

Gotta LOL @ the suckers trying to kid themselves that GGG "picks on smaller guys". He's nearly always the smaller guy. And for some reason when he tries to make fights with 168 guys, they're all busy curling their hair of a sudden. Also LOL @ these same guys that want him to fight Lara, who IS smaller than Golovkin and would get his arse beaten like a tambourine.

Don't kid yourself GGG has been bigger than almost all of his opponents.

Lara is bigger than most of GGGs opponents too to be fair, still he is smaller than GGG and GGG should fight real middleweights not welterweight and junior middleweights

^ Can't help this guy. Some of GGG's opponents have fought as high as LHW

This James5000 is a troll so why bother? Actually, I have started to believe what GGG trainer has said GGG fighting at 168. Those bigger, taller guys could actually be even easier victims for Golovkin. Degale etc. are bigger and a bit slower than Brooks. And that gives Golovkin room for close range and time to set his combos. I don“t think reach disadvantage is a problem for Golovkin.

What difference does it make? G can knock out men as big as light heavy weight and he does it with exquisite skill, finesse and power, much like a Russian ballet dancer! Didn't he make easy work of Kovalev in sparring and isn't Kovalev the top boss at light heavy as we speak? G is like the Boston tarbaby, almost always smaller than the guys he fights, yet whoops up on them regardless of the size disadvantage! The man is super naturally unbelievable!

Still talking out of your ass I see. So some of GGG's opponents fought at ww when they were teenagers, do you know what weight class GGG was fighting at around the same age? Do your research before you talk.

Exactly he was fighting at 140 with same day weigh ins

And its good GGG started fighting a weight class he's comfortable in

All you see is guys these days turn pro and drain themselves to an unnaturally low weight class to gain an advantage. Eg Robert Easter.

Jacobs deserves more than 25%, not because he's black or a cancer survivor but, because he's another champ! I'm not saying he should get 50/50 but 35%-40% I think is a fair price! Also what's so wrong with the fight happening at the Barkley center? G sold that place out if I'm not mistaken, so I don't see what your gripe is with that! It's all negotiations right now anyway. If they want to fight the fight will happen! You always start out high and let the other side talk you down to a reasonable level. Negotiations 101! SMH

Correct me if I'm wrong but, wasn't the glove on the other fist not too long ago when G was negotiating with Canelo? Let me guess, you felt that Canelo was trying to screw G! So if G is getting low balled, the other side is ducking and if G is doing the low balling and the the other side doesn't take, their ducking....interesting! What's the term for that, it evades me at the moment. I should know it, it happens all the time on this site! LOL

jacobs doesn't hold another belt, he holds a mickey mouse belt which basically means he's ggg's mandatory. If ggg wins he doesnt even get jacobs belt ffs, and if he wins they will have a new regular champion within 2 months

saunders is the only guy with a belt ggg needs

K2 will do their usual negotiation tactics by flipping the script and offering Jacobs a flat $20,000 fee.
K2 must be the very worst promotion company this side of Russia. The only fights they can successfully negotiate for GGG are with C and B level bums.
They should rename K2 to; Elite Free Opponents (EFO).

I'm a Golovkin fan but re K2 I find it hard to defend them.
