i think if he stays undefeated he will, if he loses his ego wont let him. he will want to re establish himself to go out on a high...

Well, he'll be 31 about a year from now, so that's after only two fights, including this one against Audley.

So, maybe after wins over Audley and some other easy opponent he'll do that. I dont know.
Most fighters dont walk away that early, but maybe he's an exception.

Maybe he really will take on Wlad within a year, cash himself in, get KO'd and walk away on a HUGE payday. It makes sense for a man who doesn't want to stick around in the game.

After he has lost to Haye he will probably walk away.

He'll be lucky if he's still able to walk after Audley's done with him :deal

If Haye walks quits boxing at 31, it's likely he be remembered as a big disappointment as a heavyweight. At his current rate, (and assuming he beats Audley), all he'll have time to do is fight once more, and it won't be against a Klitschko.

Unless he does something dramatic before then, it won't bother me too much if he retires...

    Haye will do a Naseem

He proably wont officially announce he is retiring

He wont tell his fans - this is the big swan song

He will probaly just disappear off the scene - go missing for months and months

And before you know it 12 months turns into 18 months and that turns into 2 years before everyone finally realises he is never fighting again and he is content just to fade away with a big bank balance.

Do you reckon he'll go to prison and double his body weight?

    :lol::lol::lol:

He will probaly will fight a Klitschko as his last fight for the career high payday and get well beaten and never fight again.

So in that sense his career will end like Naseems.

Although Naz was durable enough to see out the 12 rounds.

I expect Haye to get busted up and stopped.

However Hayes retirement - I am not sure what he will do - become a nightclub boss or something.

David Haye won't retire at 31, once Audley Harrison defeats him.......he will have to carry on to regain some pride.

Most evidence from history says he won't retire at 31.

    True.

Roy Jones and James Toney, etc - these guys are boxing addicts they cant stop themsleves.

But Haye dont love boxing like them guys.

Haye only loves the money now I am sure.

A guy that boxes maybe once a year is not really in the game for the love of it.
