I'd call Williams more of a blown up LMW than a blown up WW. He hasn't fought at WW for 18 months, and I think he'd seriously struggle to make it now. Pavlik is not a SMW at this stage. He is much sharper and much more dangerous at MW. He's fought above MW a lot, but he's mostly just inflated to that weight. When the time comes to move up, Pavlik will be adding muscle to get there; at the moment it's not a natural step.
you sound realy defensive...getting worried..listen take this the way u want but please reread your posts...paul has 27 knockouts, so what pav has 31..then u bring race into it..why? and by the way in case u didnt know it miranda and jt were black..so what..and even though alot of you dont believe it and say its excuses, pavlik realy was sick with the hopkins fight,even though hopkins is so slick and experienced i dont think kelly could of beaten him even if he was well for the fight..and on that note as great as hopkins is ,he did not knock kelly out,so think about that one..kelly went the whole way...so hate to tell u it will be pav ko 7th..the round that took miranda,taylor and now williams..:hi:

I've been watching a lot of video of both fighters, and I had a small revelation. A lot of people, myself included, have been over-thinking this fight. All this stuff about Paul's movement, and Paul's defense, and Paul fighting so well off the back, et, is mostly non-sense. And so are the constant references to the Pavlik/Hopkins fight. This one is simple. It's going to be a lot like watching a a pit bull go after a doberman. The smart money goes on the pit bull.
Who cares what angle a punch is thrown from if it doesn't do damage. Likewise shooting a punch under your own arm up and around. Movement for movement's sake? So what? Look for Atlas to over think this and endorse Williams. :yep
Kenny and Rafael agreed last night that the "smart money" would be on Williams. In order for the smart money to go on Williams, the smart money will have to get stuck on stupid! Mark my words Hermit, Kelly will go into this fight as the underdog, and it will work out the same as Miranda knocking him out, or JT winning a wide UD!
If Williams sticks and moves I think he could win a decision. He would need to fight a perfect fight which I don't think is really his makeup as a fighter. If PW decides to brawl, he will be KO'd. My gut feeling is he sticks and moves in the beginning, possibly has some success, gets careless and then possibly KTFO.
Paul is a freak, but this is too much of a move up for him. If Quintana beat Williams, Pavlik will starch him. Needless to say, Paul is no B-Hop.
