Will Manny prove as elusive as PBF for Hatton

I've already been saying I'm not at all sure of Pacquiao's ability to take big punches from 140 up. De La Hoya seemed to get his attention, starkly, with some of the basic powerpunches he made contact with. Hatton can hit. I'm not confused about that.

You are an idiot to think this is an easy fight for Manny- yes he can win but

Manny was KOd as a featherweight. De la Hoya was shot and Diaz was not a puncher either so to me he has not tasted power above 130 and Hatton is a strong 140lb fighter with ko power no question.

 

hatton by tko, late rounds. accumulated body shots and some great lead rights from hatton.

 

Im thinking Manny will land accurate punches and have a similar gameplan to the last fight. Hattons best chance is a KO in the middle rds because Manny will mess Hattons face up and could win on a cut, UD or accumalative late KO.
Im leaning towards a Hatton KO somewhere between 4 and 6

I meant flyweight- yes, all great performances even if it was an old Barrera and a Morales who struggled to make the weight in 3rd fight. Marquez won both fights in my view.
There were a few moments in the fight with De La Hoya where Pac left himself wide open to a straight right but Oscar just could not pull the trigger

 

Yeah, he hot hurt by Marquez- so what will happen when Hatton tags him

 

Finally someone with common sense..............there were enough openings for DLH but he just could not capitalize on them anymore. I am sure he saw them but his body did not respond . It happens to the best of them and one day it will happen to Manny.

Fact: Hatton will fire back and fire back hard . If someone thinks this is going to be a one way street for Manny doing the hitting without getting tagged hard in return is up for a big surprise. The chin will be a deciding factor here and IMO Hatton has the better one against bigger fighters. He took a faded but still powerfull Zoo's best shots , literally RAN into Mayweathers hook, hit the ringpost equally as hard and still got up........ remember that was a prime Mayweather, argueably the best fighter on the planet, at 147 not some empty baloon shell of a shell part time fighter in fishnets.

 

do you see the difference in style between JMM and Hatton? the first is a superb counterpuncher and offensive technician. he could avoid manny's punches and make him pay.

hatton is a fighter with t-rex proportions in terms of reach. he come's forward and will get hit by the faster pacman. what counter-punching skills can he use against pac? in the words of pacdbest hatton is a one-half dimensional fighter and even paulie malignaggi who rarely throws punches could easily connect when he does.

and BTW hatton has been hurt by lascano. had malignaggi thrwon more punches, his feather fist would have hurt hatton as well

 

the KDs and KO's does not count. They happened a long time ago to a malnourished teen-age pacquaio. ever since he mad it Big in the US, he had been hit by bigger and stronger fighters and he rarely get hurt, never been Ko'd and never been knocked down.
