yeah where exactly was the spaniad ranked before the fight i think he was outside the top 15 in the EU. and murray couldnt even put a dent on him, any1 with speed and movement is all wrong for murray

Both guys are inconsistent performers, imo Mitchell is the better boxer but Murray is bigger, stronger & has a better chin

I dont think Mitchell will turn up 100% focused & prepared due to all his personal problems

I also think Murray is too tough & determined to lose this & he will stop Kevin, possibly early

I think Mitchell holds nearly every advantage in this fight and that includes durability, who has Murray faced that proves his chin is anything more than average???. Power again that goes to Mitchell even at lightweight i think his punches are snappier, speed i think Mitchell edges it, Skill again i think Mitchell edges it. Unless Mitchell doesnt train properly or fights like an idiot it is his fight to lose.

I think Mitchell will beat Murray on points and 7/2 looks to good to turn down. Not been to impressed with what i've seen from Murray and he certainly isn't going to be world champion but then again neither is Mitchell.
    Looking forward to it though.

i think Mitchell knows this is his last hurrah if he loses, Jimmy Tibbs will get him in shape no doubt, but even still i think its a tough fight to call, Murray will start fast and try to break Mitchell quick but after a 3 or 4 rounds Mitchell will find his rythem, and take over the fight. i think his sharper punches will start slowly Murray down around the 8th 9th round and from here its easy pickings for Kev :bbb

I guess it depends on what of frame of mind Mitchell is in, even if he is an especially small lightweight i think he has the beating of Murray but who knows how seriously he's taking this fight, will we get the Mitchell who fought Prescott or the Mitchell that faced Katsidis (not that it would have made much difference to the result).

I think this is a classic case of how a certain boxer gets the best brought out of him , or not. Mitchell stepped up in class and was found wanting against katsidis. He disscovered the difference between fringe world class and real world class. I think a lot of the bad performances we've seen from Murray had a lot to do with motivational issues! Now it his his turn to step up to the plate and Mitchell will make Murray answer questions about his potential. I personally would hope for Murray to raise his game and give a performance we havnt seen from him yet! But im not sure he will.

Mitchell is a broken man i think. I dont like Kev one bit. He just annoys me saying how easily he was going to beat Katsidis then got battered. Then he comes out with all these excuses, jumping in the ring on the degale-groves card WWE style and shouting at Murray, making slit throat gestures. What a tit i hhope he gets brutally stopped.

I agree post-katsidis fight, mitchell let himself down with all the bull**** he said and for a fighter not to train 100% for his first (interim) world title shot was pretty poor. I back him to beat Murray though, mitchell does have a lot of talent and for parts of the katsidis fight he was boxing well. If he trains 100% I think it's hard to see the slower, less talented murray win.

    Depends which Kevin turns up?
The focussed and ready to go version has a greater chance.
