There are only two mega fights out there and both men are in talks to face each other.

If Mayweather beats Mosley then he will be the new P4P#1 in most people's minds.

 

I think a 147 Mosley would be a tougher opponent than Cotto, Roach knows this which is why he's said he definitely won't put Pac in with Mosley weighing that.

Him ducking Mayweather was the highest profile duck in boxing, Roach said he wanted a 5 day window for testing, Mayweather offered 14 days and team Pac still ducked out.

 

mosley was offering pac a fight at 140 and when pac choses cotto at 145, you people said that he was ducking mosley. pac did not duck floyd. pac did not agree to floyd's demand like floyd did not agree to pac's concession. floyd has more of a history of ducking elite welters than pacquiao.

 

You're making it sound like Mosley preferred fighting at such a light weight but Pac went for the bigger man, he wanted Pac and was prepared to even drop down to 140 to fight him, of course he would have preferred to fight him at a more suitable weight to him like welterweight.

Roach has since said there is no way he would put Pac in with Mosley at 147, why do you think this is? Is this a case of not putting Pac in with someone they think he will struggle against?

It would explain the duck of Mayweather when they had previously said a 5 day window is acceptable only to go and arrange a fight with Clottey when Mayweathers team offered them that and another 9 days on top.

 

Maybe not in the imediate future, but if he follows Clottey with Margarito and maybe Tim Bradley or JMM III, something will open up by next year.
