I can see the point in this fight in a way because if Manny WERE to stop Shane then Floyd would deffo have no choice whatsoever but to take the fight

Ratman couldn't STOP Margarito so why would you think he can stop Shane Mosley?
Ratman is not a power puncher. He's a flurrier with limited boxing skills.

I seriously can't believe Arum is even considering this fight. If anyone actually buys this thinking it will be competitive they are delusional, might as well give the money to charity. Mosley is more shot than any of Pacquiao's previous opponents and is clearly looking for one last payday. If this fight gets made then it deserves to be a massive flop. Again, I can't believe this fight is even being considered, Pacquiao has absolutely nothing to gain from this fight and might as well retire.

Pac via KO7. Mosley gassed in three rounds vs. Floyd. What happens when he gasses against Pac?

Richardson will stop the beating somewhere between rounds 8 and 9. Mosley is going to gas after 2-3 rounds tops and then Pac will land at will on his noggin.

Berto might not last 3 rounds so pick your poison I guess.

Look at all these idiots who talk like it's impossible for Shane to be stopped.

Pac's on god damn FIRE and even though Shanes toughness is legendary, he's old and been past his best for years.

I wouldn't be suprised if there was a stoppage either way.

Yes, 100%, SSM would not make the final bell. I'd bet serious money. Shane still has a solid chin, so I couldn't see Pac knocking him out cleanly, but I'd bet the house on a mid-late rounds TKO. There's just no way on Earth that this old, tired version of Shane could stop the punches raining in on him. This is a terrible fight for Shane at this stage in his career, he would get ****ing eaten alive.

He won't KO him, but it will be an easy TKO, just like De La Hoya, Cotto, and Margarito (should have) went.

    mosley will drop himself.

can we talk about people on their prime... i've had enough of these recycled fighters getting a shot at fights they no longer deserve.

It's hard to say because Mosley won't be knocked out but he might fall victim to a stoppage around the 10th-12th round or his corner might throw in the towel. I think he probably would get the stoppage unless Shane has a really good night.

Pacquiao at thie point would beat the **** outta Shane. SSM is my fav fighter,my idol but him being stopped is highly possible. Probably not on his back but definitely a corner stoppage as Pacquiao is just too fast & accurate for him and Shane doesn't have the reflexes or footspeed he had in the past to avoid punishment. Shane is not hard to find now by any means and Pacquiao would find him.....alot. I can see the corner stopping it. He looked great against Vargas(2nd fight) and Margarito but those guys were there to be hit, Manny will move all around and wipe the floor with Shane. What SM needs to do is try to make that rematch with Cotto.

TBH, I thought the Pacquiao/Cotto fight should've been stopped much sooner. I remember Pacquiao was looking at the ref as to say, "Really? You're going to let THIS continue?".
