McCline was supposed to be the average fighter, to replace the average belt holder (Maskaev), who got tangled up because Vitali came out of retirement and tried to get what would have been a laughable title shot. It's been well over a year since Peter won the title eliminator to fight for the WBC title. Maybe the WBC should consider just, well, giving him the belt and letting him fight someone who is reliable, like Reggie Strickland or Peter Buckley.

Yes he will. No way a tentative BIG target like McCline poses any threat to Samuel. He's gonna get hit and hit hard very early. I wouldn't be surprised to see this turn out like the Taurus Sykes fight to be honest. Not that McCline isn't better than Sykes, but simply he is a bigger target with no footwork. Being bigger won't matter here. McCline doesn't use it. Really the only way I see McCline having a chance is if he Ruiz his way through the fight.
