damn crazy that noone responded to this and 6 years later he's the first to unite all the belts since Hopkins beat ODLH.
Now he has established himself Arum will choke him out and protect him intill he is ready to feed Pacquiao to him at the end of next year. Then after he has dealt with an OAP Pacquiao he has no options really but to move to 147...but Arum will still want to keep inhouse fights which is useless for Crawford. Crawford is 29...I thought he was younger. Shame a fighter of his calibre can't be raking it in. How much do we think he made for Indongo?
Well, it took six years for the wave to finally reach the shore lol. I like Crawford, it think he is a great fighter in the making.
Cool that you saw it coming, I didn't start watching him until last year when my friend told me about him, Crawford is definitely something special!
He could if the people were honest and fair on all sides, but they are not. Because Crawford does not fit the African American stereotype when he is on camera, fans on both sides don't rally for or against him. The standard was set by Jack Johnson long ago for African American men in combat sports back when he was rubbing his success, women and money in people's faces. Ali did it, Ray Robinson did it, Leonard did it, Hagler was just plain hated, Tyson did it, Mayweather did it, Jones Jr. , Broner so as long as Crawford remains himself people will never like him in large.
Let's also count the fact that they were hyping Adrien Broner at this time in 2011 as "the next Floyd Mayweather". Makes my point clear.
If Crawford were to fight Thurman next that would make waves, or at least Porter or Spence. I prefer Thurman.............
Feels to me like he still has to step up in class. He's looked great so far don't get me wrong and I do like his style of fighting. I too didn't realize he was 29 already. I think a fight with him and Mikey Garcia would be great, but I don't know if Garcia is an Arum fighter. We all know Arums M.O.
