Sky will not touch this joke - I like Haye but he is a conman and this event will be a shambles. There is one thing sky doing a deal with the Sauerlands/K2 outside the Hearn deal but they certainly wouldn't be doing that with the Salter Bros. Would ITV be prepared to show it..maybe but they certainly wouldn't be prepared to actually pay for it. Channel 5 probably not/ BT wouldn't be interested. I think the only real possibility is BN or maybe the Salters will do their own PPV stream
yea but lets be honest heard the same **** so many times about how great fighters are. lets just wait to see how he develops before u get too carried away
Who can he get on the undercard? The only major promoter without TV ties at the moment is Sanigar so Andrew Selby etc could be on the show. I think Sky may sit this one out and wait to see how good he looks- ITV would be great for the exposure but I doubt they'd pay a rights fee.
A cash rich promoter who is crazy enough to try and do something different. You couldn't make it work on the current monetisation platform but we know YouTube Live has trailed PPV for UFC and I don't think it will be long before we see this becoming the norm. YouTube dwarfs every other broadcast platform on the planet and when one of their partners is greenlit to sell conventional advertising to a global audience online I can see it happening. And after all, these Salter boys like to boast that they reached close to 1 billion people with their #feelingnuts campaign.
i would have assumed that some of cyclones fighters would be on the undercard, but seen as though frampton/quigg is only a month after then this probably won't be the case
He's really worried about ticket sales you know. Was on Sky sports yesterday plugging it and now just been on Fletch and Sav on BT telling hem to get their credit card details out. Can really tell he doesn't know if people will buy into this haha.
